NOBLESVILLE GIRLS BASKETBALL CLUB Be a Part of the Lady Miller Movement! The Noblesville Girls Basketball Club ( NGBC ) was formed to provide the young ladies of Noblesville the opportunity to play basketball at a competitive level while developing a strong foundation in basketball fundamental principles. Under the guidance of Coach Donna Keck and her knowledgeable staff, we are working to develop a strong girl s travel basketball program in our community and promote the participation of our girls in basketball. 14-15 TRAVEL BASKETBALL PROGRAM PROGRAM The NGBC is an AAU travel basketball club focused on developing Noblesville players. The program is geared toward girls entering 2 nd through 7 th grades who wish to play in a more competitive basketball environment than what is typically seen in a recreational league. Though we are a travel club all games will be played in the central Indiana/ Indy metro area. PRACTICE Practice will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays and last 90 minutes. They will be located at Noblesville West Middle School and take place between the hours of 6pm and 9pm. Each team will have a designated start time during this period. GAMES/ LEAGUES IGHL The primary league we will participate in will be the Indy Girls Hoops League or IGHL. The IGHL is the nation s largest school based girl s youth league and it is run and organized by Indiana high school basketball coaches. 2 games will be played on every other Sunday at high schools and middle schools in the central Indiana/ Indy Metro area. JUNIOR MILLER LEAGUE In addition to the IGHL the girls will participate in our local junior millers league. Girls will practice under Miller coach Donna Keck, her staff and the Miller players. During games they will be coaches by members of the varsity team. Practice and games will be played during the week during the normal club practice times.

AAU/ TOURNAMENT PLAY Teams will also play in a minimum of 3 local & regional tournaments after the conclusion of the IGHL winter season. 2014 EVENTS CALENDAR Fall Workouts Fall Team Selection Notifications Payments Due/ Parents Meeting Fall Fundraising Starts Fall Season Practice Starts IGHL Fall League Junior Millers League Noblesville Miller Girls Season Starts Winter Supplemental Workouts Winter Team Selection Notifications Winter Payments Due/ Parents Meeting Winter Fundraising Starts Winter Season Practice Starts IGHL Winter League Starts* Aug 14 th & Aug 19 th by Aug 22 nd Aug 28 th Sept. 2 nd Sept. 2 nd Sept. 14 th to Nov 16 th Sept. 9 th to Oct 2 nd Oct 27 th Week of Nov. 3 rd by Nov 14 th Nov 21 st Dec 1 st Dec 1 st Dec 7 th 2015 EVENTS PLANNED IGHL State Tournament Tournament Play o (Starts after middle school season) FEVER Opening Day w/ NGBC o (Scrimmage at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse plus interactive events with the Fever) NGBC Season End Party Millers Rec Camp Millers Fundamentals & Shooting Camp *winter season is shortened for 7 th grade to not interfere with middle school basketball schedule
