VILLAGE OF NORTH BRANCH PERMANENT TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDER NO. 3 (Pursuant to Ordinance No. 28) 1 The speed limits on M-90 (Huron Street) shall be as follows: A. 40 mph from east Village limits westbound to Franklin Street, then 30 mph to Monroe Street then 40 mph to west Village limits. B. 40 mph from west Village limits eastbound to Monroe Street, then 30 mph to Franklin Street then 40 mph to east Village limits. 2. The speed limits on Jefferson Street, north and south shall be as follows: A. 30 mph from north Village limit southbound to Orr Drive, 25 mph to stop sign at Huron Street, and 25 mph to south Village limits. B. 25 mph from south Village limit northbound to stop sign at Huron Street, continuing 25 mph to Orr Drive, then 30 mph to north Village limit. 3. The following residential streets within the Village of North Branch shall have speed limits posted at 25 mph: A. Beech Street. B. West Street. C. Spring Street. D. Monroe Street. E. Saginaw Street. F. Lincoln Street. G. Sherman Street. H. Washington Street. 1. Franklin Street J. John Street. K. Brush Street. L. Baldwin Street, north of Huron Street. M. Park Street. N. Mill Street. 0. The following intersection shall have a Yield Sign posted: A. Intersection on Saginaw Street at Park Street, northbound only. 8. U-Turns are prohibited on Huron Street from Spring Street to Lincoln Street. This includes the middle of the blocks and intersections at Huron and Spring, Huron and Monroe, Huron and Jefferson, Huron and Saginaw, and Huron and Lincoln. 9. The following 'no parking" regulations shall be enforced: A. There will be no parking that blocks driveways or alleys. B. There will be no parking within 20 feet of an intersection. C. There will be no parking within 50 feet of the intersection of Huron Street and Jefferson Street except on the east side of Jefferson Street, north of Huron Street. D. There will be no parking in front of the Post Office. E. There will be no parking on the west side of Monroe Street from Huron Street to Banker Street. F. There will be no parking in the following "Bus Loading Zones" from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (1) The south side of Banker Street from Jefferson Street to Monroe Street. G. There will be no parking on Huron Street (M-90) between Monroe and Jefferson Streets and on Huron Street (M-90) between Lincoln and Sherman Streets. 10. The following residential streets within North Branch Meadows mobile home park shall be posted as "no parking": A. Lydia Boulevard. B. Olivia Lane. C. Tree Line Drive. D. Sewan Drive. E. Hani Court. F. Clint Court. G. Louie Lane H. Roxanne Lane. I. Saw Grass Lane. 11. The following parking zone restrictions shall be enforced:

A. On streets marked with white parking lines, all vehicles shall be parked within said parking lines. B. All parking zones are to be entered from the driving lane adjacent to the parking zone being entered. C. There will be no 'Double Parking". 12. A three-hour parking limit shall be enforced between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the following streets: A. Huron Street from Jefferson Street to Lincoln Street B. Saginaw Street from Huron Street to Banker Street on the west side and from Huron Street to the alley on the east side. C. Lincoln Street from Huron Street south to the alley. D. The south 1/2 of the west side of Washington Street between Huron and Mill Street. 13. Over night parking shall be prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following streets: A. Huron Street from Jefferson Street to Lincoln Street. B. Lincoln Street from Banker Street to Mill Street. C. Saginaw Street from Banker Street to Mill Street. D. Jefferson Street from Huron Street to Mill Street. 14. Vehicles shall park in the manner designated on the following streets: A. All vehicles parking on Saginaw Street between Huron Street and Banker Street shall park parallel with the curb line on the east side of Saginaw Street and shall angle (45 deg.) park on the west side of this section of Saginaw Street. B. All vehicles parking on the east side of Saginaw Street between Huron Street and Mill Street shall angle (45 deg.) park. C. All vehicles parking on the west side of Saginaw Street between Huron Street and Mill Street shall angle park except along the established curb where vehicles shall parallel park. D. All vehicles parking on Jefferson Street between Huron Street and Mill Street shall park parallel with the curb on the east side and angle (45 deg.) park on the west side of this section of Jefferson Street. 15. Penalties for the violation of any of the sections of this 'Traffic Control Order" shall be those contained in the 'Uniform Traffic Code". 16. All former traffic control orders or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this order are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. 17. This order shall go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on the 4th day of August, 2000. The undersigned Police Chief of the Village of North Branch certifies that pursuant to Section 2.25 of the Uniform Traffic Code, he hereby issues this Traffic Control order No. 3 on the 4th day of August, 2000.
