Modifications No modifications were needed in order to comply with the specified standards. 6. General Performance Criteria The vehicle representative of the type submitted shall not display any deterioration in the direct control of the vehicle which might be observed by the driver or by any another road user when the vehicle in question is in the state defined in C.4 (EN 15194 Annex C). Section C.4.6.2.1 in Annex C: A vehicle is deemed to fulfil the requisite conditions if, during the tests carried out in the manner required by this clause, there are no abnormal changes in speed of the vehicle s drive wheels, there are no signs of operational deterioration which might mislead other road users and there are no other noticeable phenomena which could result in a deterioration in the direct control of the vehicle.

Page 7 of 23 7. General Test Information The bicycle was arranged according to EN 15194 in the test chamber. The bicycle was positioned in a fixture there the bicycle-pedals were driven by an adjustable pneumatic motor and the back wheel was loaded with an appropriate load for each test moment. The speed of the pedals was adjusted until assistance speed conditions were reached. Emission tests was performed in these EUT conditions: - A load applied in order to test at 75% ±10% of the continuous rated power declared by the manufacturer. - Front-wheel activated by an external motor to obtain the front light functions. Standstill mode of assistance part. Immunity tests were performed in these EUT conditions: - Standstill mode. - 90 % of the start-up assistance mode. - 90 % of the design maximum assistance speed. The EUT was verified by monitoring the back-wheel speed and displayed data on Shimano STEPS display. Test setup EMC Chamber Camera Camera EUT EUT Fiber Fiber TV

Page 17 of 23 11. Radiated Immunity Result: PASS Requirement: Criterion acc. to C.4 Test Result: Criterion acc. to C.4 Test Description The EUT was placed 1 dm over the chamber floor. The distance from antenna varied dependent of which polarization used. The EUT was then subjected to radiated EM fields from 20 2000MHz. These antenna types was used for each frequency band: - Antenna BBAE 9179 and VHBD 9134 was used at EM fields of 20-80 MHz. - Bicon elements and VHBD 9134 was used at EM fields of 80-200 MHz. - Horn antenna AH-220 was used at EM fields of 200-1000 MHz. - Horn antenna Emco 3115 was used at EM fields of 1000-2000 MHz. The RF signal was swept in frequency with a 1% interval and with a dwell time of 2 seconds per frequency. The EUT was verified by monitoring the back-wheel speed and displayed data on Shimano STEPS display. Test conditions: 1.
