Getting Started Guide ReadyCaster provides an easy-to-use management system to organize & publish your media. The professional design templates included with the platform, along with the flexible customization options, the event schedule with live stream display and bulk import options from YouTube & Vimeo, really make this the ultimate digital media center. Let s get started!

I. Setting Up Your ReadyCaster When you first login to your ReadyCaster, you will be in Maintenance Mode. We recommend that you stay in Maintenance Mode until you have finished importing all of your content and designed your ReadyCaster the way you want it to look. The first thing you will want to do is import your media content. 1 Click on Settings Video Sources If you have an account with an approved ReadyCaster Provider, your Provider information will already be added for you. Click Add Video Source in the upper Right corner to import content from another source (YouTube or Vimeo). If YouTube, you will need to add the name of your YouTube Account. If Vimeo, you will need to add the Vimeo address for your Vimeo Account. * Please note that you can have more than one YouTube or Vimeo account within your ReadyCaster there is no limit. 3

I. Setting Up Your ReadyCaster 2 Click on Categories Choose + New Category in the upper right hand corner. Type in the name of the category and choose whether this is a toplevel, parent category or a sub-category, child of a parent category you have already created. * You may create an unlimited number of categories. If you do not have public content assigned to a category, that category will not display on your ReadyCaster. Only categories with public media content are displayed. 3 Click on Videos Click on + Import Videos in the upper right hand corner. Your media content will be added to your ReadyCaster under the Uncategorized Videos Category at the top. Click on the arrow next to Uncategorized Videos to see all of your content. 4

Setting Up Your ReadyCaster Start organizing your media by searching, or clicking on the check-boxes to make your content public or featured. * Featured videos will be shown under Featured on your ReadyCaster. Content that is marked as a Top 4 will be ordered in the Top 4 spots on the Category page they have been assigned to within your ReadyCaster. Remember, only categories with public media content are displayed. II. Creating Pages 1 Click on Pages Click + New Page in the upper right hand corner. 2 Type in your content and add in pictures or logos if you d like. You can also edit using HTML, by selecting the <> in the top corner of the WYSIWYG editor. 5

II. Creating Pages 3 Make sure you click Save Changes to save your work and you will see your page under the More tab on your ReadyCaster. Pages can be used however you choose and are not required; most users like to create an About Us page or Terms & Conditions. III. Customizing Your ReadyCaster Design 1 Click on Settings Design 6

III. Customizing Your ReadyCaster Design 2 Upload your logo to the Top Logo 3 You can change the colors of your site background. Play with the colors of the site until you find the design you like, that best represents your brand. 4 Click on Settings Social If you have any Social Media outlets that you would like to link to on your homepage, add the links to this page and the appropriate logos will be displayed. Personal Site can link to any site of your choosing most clients use this to link to their primary website. 7

IV. Site Settings 1 Click on Settings Site Settings Homepage Slider: If you do not want to have the slider on your site, you can disable it by turning it off. The slider is enabled by default. Maintenance Mode: You can disable Maintenance mode at any point, or if you want to continue editing your site, this is where you will disable it when you are ready. When you are logged into your admin, you will still be able to see what your ReadyCaster will look like when it is live, but all other users see that it is under maintenance. Live Event Label: The Live event label is for your live event schedule. If you have a specific title for your events that you would prefer to use (i.e. concert, show, broadcast, sermon, etc.) you can change it here. Google Analytics ID: If you have a Google Analytics account, enter your ID here so that you can track and monitor the analytics on your ReadyCaster. 8

V. Sliders If you have Sliders enabled, you will want to add sliders to your ReadyCaster. 1 Click on Sliders 2 Click + New Slider in the upper right hand corner. If you have a title and description for your slider that you would like to show on your ReadyCaster, enter it in the fields provided. 3 Upload your slider image 4 Choose a link for your slider. You can link to a category, a specific media file or a URL. 5 If your slider is associated with an event, you can choose the event from the drop-down menu. * If you have not yet created your event, keep adding all of your sliders; you can associate the sliders from within the event section as well. 9

VI. Events 1 Click on Events 2 Click + New Event in the upper right hand corner. 3 Enter the title, location and any details about your event. If this is a live streaming event, add your Iframe embed code. 4 Choose a related category and/or related link if applicable. This is not required. Most clients will link to a similar category and if there are products that are related they may include a link. 5 Enter the start and end date of your event. Be sure to set the right Time Zone for the event and then if you have a slider for the event, choose it from the drop-down menu. 10

VII. Users (Admin Users Only) To add or edit users, click on Users. To add users, click on + New User in the upper right hand corner. Enter the First and Last Name of the New User along with their email address and password. Choose their permission level. If you do not set them as an admin, they will not be able to access the users section. VIII. Advertisements (if you have the Ad Manager) To manage your advertisements throughout your ReadyCaster, click on Advertisements. Click Edit next to the ad spot you want to edit. Upload the image and add the link where you want the ad to redirect to. If you have ad server code, enter that in the ad server code box instead. Click Save Changes to save your work. *Leave this blank if you uploaded an image. 11

VII. Advertisements (if you have the Ad Manager) Frequently Asked Questions How do I add videos to my ReadyCaster? You can add videos to your ReadyCaster account by importing them individually by http URL, or via bulk import through your YouTube or Vimeo account. You can also bulk import through your account with one of the approved online video platforms. Can I link my ReadyCaster to my YouTube account? Yes. There are Social Media settings available, which give you the flexibility to link to your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and Vimeo accounts. You can also link to a personal website URL. 12

Frequently Asked Questions Does ReadyCaster let me share my videos through Facebook? Yes. There are Social Media settings available, which give you the flexibility to link to your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and Vimeo accounts. You can also link to a personal website URL. Is there a limit to the number of videos or categories that I can add to my ReadyCaster? No! There are no limits if you are ready, so is ReadyCaster! Can I advertise on my ReadyCaster? Yes. The Advertising Manager allows you to manage all of your advertising right from within your ReadyCaster account. The Advertising Manager is an extra feature that can be added for an additional, one-time fee of $199. The Advertising Manager integrates with your Ad Server for tracking purposes, or you can also upload individual banner images with a redirect URL for internal advertising purposes where reporting is not needed. If you are interested in developing an advertising strategy or learning more about increasing your revenue through advertising, contact us. I want to use my own URL instead of ReadyCaster branding. Is that possible? Yes. There is a one-time custom setup fee of $99 to use your own unique URL for your ReadyCaster. Contact us today to get yours setup! Frequently Asked Questions How do I feature my live stream on my ReadyCaster? Create your live event in the Events section of your ReadyCaster admin. Add the title of your event, the embed code for your live streaming player, a related link or category if applicable and the start and end date of the event. Double check your time zone and then mark whether this event is repeating. If you have already uploaded a slider image that you would like to use on the homepage of the site under Sliders,it will be available as an option in the Slider Event drop-down menu for the new event you are creating. Choose that slider and your event will be featured on the homepage. If you have not added a slider image for the homepage yet, go ahead and save your event information without an image selected in the Slider Event drop-down menu. Next, go to your Sliders tab in the admin and upload the image you want to use. Next to Live Event, choose the event you just created to feature it on the homepage. How do I feature my video content? When in the list view, you can feature your videos by clicking the check-box under the Feature column. When in the gallery view, you can feature a video by clicking on the edit video pencil icon and selecting the check-box next to Feature to enable it as a featured video. * Note, make sure that your videos are set to public mode or they will not appear in the front video gallery. You can also choose the Top 4 for each category by selecting the check-box under the Top 4 column when in the list view. Can I have subcategories in my ReadyCaster? Yes, you can have an unlimited number of subcategories in ReadyCaster. The system does not support subcategories of subcategories, however. Customized design and functionality can be developed if you need something extra, contact us. How are my videos sorted? By default, your videos are displayed by most recent content (by date, newest to oldest). The Featured video section will only display videos that you have featured and then displays them in order by date. The Popular video section displays videos in order of most views. * Note, make sure that your videos are set to public mode or they will not appear in the front video gallery. I m all done organizing my videos, and I m trying to review my site but I can t see it for some reason. Am I missing something? How do I review what it looks like to the public? How do I go live? By default your site is in Maintenance Mode. When you have finished making your edits and adding content, click on the Settings tab and then go to Site Settings. Turn Maintenance Mode off when you are ready to go live. 14
