Commitment to Technology The City of Eagan has placed a high priority on technology jobs and infrastructure. Over the last decade, Eagan has led the way in job growth for scientific, technical and professional positions. The city continues to work closely with local industry and a broadband advisory working group to seize opportunities, positioning Eagan as a technology hub. The City of Eagan funded the feasibility study to attract this world class data center facility. In January of 2011, the Eagan City Council unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the regional need for a purpose-built data center with additional route redundancy as critical infrastructure for Eagan s future. 2

Multi-tenant Opportunity Planned Three-Phase Multi-tenant Development The Connexion is a multi-tenant data center, designed as a Tier III powered data facility, located at the hub of fiber connectivity in this well established area of Eagan, Minnesota. The Connexion offers private data suites in a collaborative environment that includes data center end users, telecom companies, internet service providers, colocation and managed services companies, disaster recovery and related mission critical companies. Building Size: 3-phase 138,000 SF multi-tenant powered-shell data center offering separately demised and autonomous data suites per tenant s space requirements Condition: Purpose-built, LEED Certified data center designed to accomodate Tier III requirements Building Composition: 16 Clear height. Architectural pre-cast and steel frame construction Floor: Floor loads of 500 PDS per SF+. Ground resistance of 5 OHMS or less Columns: Average column spacing minimum of 36 x 46 Roof: Structurally enhanced concrete roof with lightning protection system Security: Highly secure structure. 24x7 gated access with security guard Deliverable: Premises is delivered in shell condition ready to be built-out to tenant s specifications. Critical Site Information Power The Connexion will be served with initial access to 20 MW of power and connectivity to two (2) substations. Dakota shall serve the facility from an underground, 3 phase, 12.5KV feeder, which is located at the south side of Yankee Doodle Road. The existing distribution feeder is underground and runs approximately 1 mile to the east and connects to the LeMay Lake substation. The LeMay Lake substation was completely rebuilt in 2000 and is supplied by an extremely reliable 69KV transmission system. There has not been an outage of the LeMay Lake substation or this feeder in the past 5 years. Additional power is available pending client power needs.
