Master of Arts Cultural Science/Intercultural Communication Studies DOUBLE DIPLOMA at AMU and EUV Enrolment procedure at AMU a short instruction for candidates from the EU countries Step 1: you have to be a student at EUV (Master of Arts - Intercultural Communication Studies) Step 2: registration at https://rejestracja.amu.edu.pl To become an AMU student you have to register on the website mentioned above (see below). On the left, choose the command Utwórz konto which means: create a new account. To create an individual account, a PESEL number is required. Every Polish citizen has a PESEL (personal identification) number. Foreign candidates will have a special PESEL number created for the purpose of enrolment and studies. To obtain the PESEL you have to write an e-mail to cor@europa-uni.de and give your full name, date of birth and nationality. The request is sent to AMU and then the newly generated PESEL number is sent back to the candidate. The procedure lasts about 2 days. When you already have the PESEL number, you can click on Utwórz konto. There, you will see the first page of the registration form: Strona 1 z 7
You have to accept all the options you see above: - the first one says that you agree for processing and using your personal data by AMU for the purpose of enrolment and study documentation; - the second one that AMU is not responsible for any incorrect personal details given by a candidate; - the third one that you accept that all information concerning the stages of enrolment will be published on your individual account and that the information given on your account is recognized as being delivered. The second thing you have to do is to rewrite the code you see. If you are a foreigner you have to mark it. Click on the small square next to the phrase: Jestem cudzoziemcem (means: I m foreigner ). Then, new options will appear. You have to mark if one of these relates to you (you are or you have): permission for settlement in Poland; valid Card of Pole ; refugee status given in Poland temporary protection in Poland permission given the long term EU resident for stay in Poland permission for settlement for appointed time in Poland in connection with the circumstance about witch says art. 53, par. 1, point 7, 13, 14 Act about Foreigners 13.06.2003 (DZ.U. Nr 128, poz. 1175, z późn. Zm.) migrating employee status, who is the citizen of EU country, The Swiss Confederation or EFTA member state part of the agreement about European Economic Area or his/her family member and you live in Poland status of the citizen of EU country or EFTA member state part of the agreement about European Economic Area or The Swiss Confederation, or you are his/her family member and you have the permission for permanent stay In Poland not applicable When you accept one of these options (besides the last one), click: Kontynuuj and you go the page two: Strona 2 z 7
You give your PESEL number, sex, date of birth, write a password to your account and repeat it and rewrite the numbers you see. Then you write the question for recovering the password and answer it. Finally, you submit your e-mail address (you write it twice) and phone number. On page three you give your personal details: First name Middle name Surname Maiden name Place of birth Country of birth Citizenship Father s name Mother s name Type of document Number of document Main source of upkeep Beneath: - address; - correspondence address (if it is different) The last thing you have to mark on this page is if you are handicapped: jestem osobą niepełnosprawną. On page four there are two options to choose from: Strona 3 z 7
You have to choose the second one as you apply for Master Studies. When you choose the option, new boxes will appear (they concern your Bachelor degree diploma): In the field Ocena na dyplomie, candidates with a foreign (other than Polish) diplomas do not write any grade. They have to send a copy of the official translation of their diploma into the Polish language to the Department of Teaching at AMU (dnuam@amu.edu.pl). The translation has to contain the grading scale used in a given country. The department will convert the foreign grade into the Polish one and attribute it to the candidate. When you submit and accept all the required information, you will have your account created. Strona 4 z 7
Step 3: choosing the field of studies When you create your account you have to go to your profile. You will see the steps you have done (in green) and the steps you still have to do (in red). You have created a new account and the next thing you have to do is choosing the field of studies. Wybór kierunków studiow means choosing the field of studies : There is a blue link zapisz się in the field called Wybór kierunków studiow. You have to click on it. On the next website you have to click on: zapisz się na nowy kierunek the green box on the right. Then you choose: - Wydział Nauk Społecznych; - studia stacjonarne 2-letnie drugiego stopnia; - Kulturoznawstwo, spec. komunikacja międzykulturowa, studia prowadzone przez UAM i UE Viadrina (zajęcia w Słubicach) Strona 5 z 7
On the next page you have to choose your diploma from the list (the last option: Dyplom ) When you click on continue ( Akceptuj ), you will finish selecting the field studies. Step 4: paying for the enrolment procedure: To see the next step you have to click on podsumowanie (the blue box at the top of the site). On the right there is an account number for paying for the enrolment (the fee is 85,00zł). The number is individual for every candidate. If you want to pay for it from abroad you need the IBAN and SWIFT CODE: IBAN are the letters PL before the account number: PL+ number SWIFT: BPKOPLPW A few days after paying for the enrolment you will see the information about your payment on your profile. You have to attribute it to the chosen field of studies: Go to podsumowanie. The fourth box says: przypisanie opłaty rekrutacyjnej. Choose Zarządzaj opłatami in the same box. You will move to the following page: Strona 6 z 7
There is a table with your studies. In the fourth column there is a grey box przypisz opłatę. Choose it. Remember: you have to see the payment on your profile first. Step 5: submitting the enrolment documents to Collegium Polonicum From the website you see above you can print your application form. It is a pdf file called Druk podania wraz z oświadczeniem in the last column of the table. After you have printed it, check your personal details, sign it and bring or send it with the rest of the required documents to Collegium Polonicum, ul. Kościuszki 1, 69-100 Słubice, Sylwia Cor, pok. 151 (Office hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 10:00 till 15:00). The list of documents: - application form (signed); - a coloured photo (the same as for a passport); - copy of your passport; - copy of the Bachelor diploma and its official translation; - copy of high school final certificate/maturity exam, - Immatrikulationsbescheinigung für WS 2013/2014. The deadline for submitting the documents is 17.10.2013. As you need to allow some time for translation and paying for the enrolment, remember to do it earlier.
