Description The 87P Ultrasonic sensors are designed to solve challenging applications that a typical photoelectric or inductive sensor would not detect reliably. These sensors are designed for noncontact sensing of solid and liquid objects. onstructed of durable PBT plastic with an ingress protection rating of IP67, they are available in 8 or mm barrel sizes depending on sensing range. The 87P sensors are available in a wide variety of outputs such as analog, discrete, or a combination of both. The 87P line features a wide breadth of sensing ranges from mm (.7 in.) up to mm (7.7 in.). Discrete models feature sourcing (PNP) ouputs with normally open or normally closed logic functions. The analog outputs feature current ( m) or voltage ( V ) with the ability to teach a rising or falling ramp. The 87P sensors are often utilized in the following applications: level control, diameter measurement, slope control, and presence detection. Features Sensing ranges from mm (.7 7.7 in.)
