The Junior (B) competition requires a minimum of 4 junior pilots. Juniors (B) are all pilots who are not older than 23 years (31.12.2016). Juniors (A) are all pilots who are not older than 18 years (31.12.2016). Admission terms: Members of the DAeC (German Aero Club) have to provide a valid license for 2016. Pilots not affiliated to the DAeC and those coming from abroad have to submit a certificate showing sufficient third party insurance. Valid FAI-licence is requested.
Users of 2.4 GHz systems have to announce in the registration sheet as used frequency: 2.4 GHz Three (3) frequencies are requested; registrations with only two frequencies cannot be accepted. All competitors with 2.4 GHz RC-equipment need a declaration of conformity in accordance with the Radio and telecommunications terminal equipment act (FTEG) and directive 1999/5/EG (R&TTE) or newer. This may be checked during registration on the field in front of the competition. Important! Due to organisation reasons the number of pilots for the GERMAN OPEN 2016 is limited to 72 pilots. The registration is fulfilled with the incoming payment of the entry fee. Every accepted entry will be confirmed by the organizer. Registration modus for the German Open F5J 2016 Total contingent: 72 pilots Registration deadline for all pilots: 12.08.2016 All registered pilots will get a confirmation of registration and as same a demand of payment. All payments must be received to the account of the organiser until 26.08.2016. Entries without received payment of the fee in time will be cancelled after 26.08.2016 and the open start places will be offered to the pilots of the waiting list. Same procedure will be used if pilots will cancel their registration. Successors will be informed by the organiser and the entry fee must be received until 02.09.2016. Cancellations until 26.08.2016 can demand a payback of 50 percent, later cancellations won t get any payback of entry fee. It is planned to fly min. 6 preliminary rounds (dependent on weather conditions) with all competitors. The Fly-Off with max. 3 separate rounds. 61 bis 72 competitors 9 Pilots 51 bis 60 competitors 8 Pilots 41 bis 50 competitors 7 Pilots bis 40 competitors 6 Pilots Modus operandi for results of the Fly-Off. All results of the preliminary rounds will be set to zero. Only the Fly-Off result will be used for the ranking of the International German Champion and the International German Juniors Champion (A+ B). The ranking of all other competitors will be the results of the preliminary rounds. FYI: this competition is also part of the CONTEST Eurotour F5J 2016 and FAI World Cup F5J and is also part of the Intertour F5J 2016 Antidoping rules: As a participant of this competition every competitor declares his acknowledgement to the Anti-Doping-Rules of the German Aero Club (DAeC) and the national Anti-Doping-Agency (NADA). Catering During the days of competition beverages and small BBQ can be bought at the airfield. It is planed to have an airfield party on Saturday evening. 3
