What does this mean to you? Effective immediately, all L-3 Communications suppliers should use FedEx Ground COLLECT for individual packages that weigh up to 150 lbs. with a combined length and girth of 130 inches or less. Under the arrangement, shipping charges will be invoiced directly to us, and a weekly pickup fee, if applicable, will be invoiced to you in the weeks when pickups are made. You ll improve your cash flow, because we are billed for shipping charges upon receipt. You don t have to weigh or rate packages, because FedEx Ground computes the shipping charges. Tracking FedEx Ground COLLECT shipments is quick and efficient. And package preparation is easy.
Preferred method for shipping FedEx packages to L-3 Communications How to ship a FedEx Ground COLLECT package 1. Call 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 to set up a FedEx Ground COLLECT account or to verify that your current FedEx Groundaccount is set up to ship collect. If you are setting up a new account, you will receive a welcome kit that includes FedEx Ground COLLECT bar-code labels. If you are already using FedEx Ground COLLECT to ship to other recipients, you can use the same account number and labels to ship to L-3 Communications. 2.
