Online: FedEx Web Services The industry standard in Web-based shipping saves time by automating common processes like rate and service selection, generating labels and tracking the status of shipments, and processing returns when real-time responses are a requirement. Ideal if you are a shipper with low to medium transaction volume and want FedEx functionality available directly from your websites, business applications and intranets. In Your Environment: FedEx Ship Manager Server Shipping functionality integrated directly into your business system can streamline your supply chain. This self-contained application eliminates the need for constant communications with FedEx systems. The result: increased speed and significantly reduced security risks inherent in point-to-point electronic communications. Ideal if you are a high-volume, ultra high-speed shipper. On Your Computer: FedEx Ship Manager Software One program effectively tracks the status of packages and notifies customers of package arrivals, monitors shipping usage with easy-to-read reports and integrates shipping into your company s ordering and fulfillment database. Ideal if you are a shipper with a pickup every day.

2 FedEx SmartPost Enhancements Configuration and rate information are now downloaded automatically to your devices for quicker, more efficient setup. Print-as-you-go allows you to print FedEx SmartPost labels as packages are processed for multi-piece shipments. As a FedEx SmartPost customer you can now receive earned discounts for every dollar spent with FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx HomeDelivery, FedEx Freight and FedEx SmartPost shipments. Available with: FedEx Ship Manager Software, FedEx Integrator and FedEx Ship Manager Server Earned discounts display automatically and appear in courtesy rate quotes. Shipping to APO/FO/DPO destinations. FedEx SmartPost now allows for future-day shipping when FedEx Ground is the pickup carrier. (Existing functionality in FedEx Web Services and FedEx Ship Manager Software) FedEx SmartPost Returns uses the U.S. Postal Service to offer you more access points for returns, and offers free package pickup from home and business addresses. FedEx SmartPost Returns services are available with FedEx Print Return Label and FedEx Return Label options. notifications for shipment and delivery can be requested. Hold at FedEx Location Service & Enhancements When creating the shipping label as a FedEx Express shipper, you can request packages be held at FedEx Express stations or FedEx Office locations for pickup during normal business hours. (Existing functionality in FedEx Ship Manager Software and FedEx Ship Manager Server) When creating the shipping label as a FedEx Ground shipper, you can request packages be held at FedEx Office locations for pickup during normal business hours. New Intra-Country Shipping Options You now have the option of intra-country shipping in countries where FedEx currently offers outbound international shipping: Switzerland (FedEx Priority Overnight ), United Arab Emirates (FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx 1Day Freight). FedEx Express Saver, FedEx 1Day Freight, FedEx 2Day Freight are now available for Mexico-origin shippers. FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight and FedEx Standard Overnight services are now available for Mexico-origin shippers. FedEx Express Saver is now available for Canada-origin shippers.

3 Improved Hazardous Materials Shipping Options Support the DOT Offeror Emergency Response Information (ERI) provider requirement., FedEx Ship Manager Software, FedEx Integrator, FedEx Integration Assistant and FedEx Ship Manager Server Enable you to automatically generate new hazardous material forms: OP-900LL, OP-900LG and OP-950. Allow shipments of lithium batteries to be processed as a non-hazardous material shipment to all 50 U.S. states. Allow dry ice shipments to contiguous 48 U.S. states. Allow small quantity exception hazardous materials shipments to contiguous 48 U.S. states without hazardous material shipping paper. Enable the selection of UN or NA identification numbers that auto-populate the allowed FedEx Ground hazardous materials commodities to be processed. Available with: FedEx Ship Manager Software, FedEx Integrator, FedEx Integration Assistant and FedEx Ship Manager Server Enable of label creation for up to three different commodities in one package. Available with: FedEx Ship Manager Software, FedEx Integrator, FedEx Integration Assistant and FedEx Ship Manager Server New Weight Limits The maximum weight for a hazardous materials package is 70 lbs. (31.75 kg). The maximum weight for an ORM-D package is 66 lbs. (29.93 kg). The maximum weight for a small quantity hazardous materials package is 64 lbs. (29.02 kg).

4 FedEx Express Service Expansion FedEx First Overnight now offers Saturday delivery. FedEx Express Freight Services now offers Saturday pickup. FedEx Priority Alert SM for FedEx Express Freight shipments: extends existing FedEx Priority Alert to include FedEx First Overnight for FedEx Express Freight shipments, FedEx 1Day Freight, FedEx 2Day Freight and FedEx 3Day Freight. U.S. Outbound Dangerous Goods and Dry Ice Deferred Service Expansion: offers accessible, inaccessible and dry ice dangerous goods handling service for FedEx International Economy and FedEx International Economy Freight services. FedEx Electronic Trade Documents (Existing functionality in FedEx Ship Manager Software and FedEx Web Services) Submit your international trade documentation electronically no need to print paper copies and place them in the pouch. Upload customs documents generated by FedEx, or upload your own international trade documents as files or images created on your own systems in your preferred software format (e.g., PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel). Add your company letterhead and signature image to the Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice. The Commercial Invoice is the first of several FedEx TradeLink DocCenter documents we re introducing to enhance your international shipping experience. Save time and reduce errors by eliminating the need to re-enter data. Generate and personalize your Commercial Invoice using images of your company letterhead and signature. Use FedEx TradeLink DocCenter by downloading the application. You can use the application on its own or with FedEx Electronic Trade Documents.
