Nelson Washbasin Pre-Install Instructions Pre-Install Instructions Please see the below for instructions to prepare site for installation. This product is designed for indoor use in a wet environment, such as a bathroom or washroom. It may only be used in an environment corresponding to the system s IPX6 rating. Ensure that the installation location environment also complies with the following operating parameters: Tempreture - 5 C to 40 C, Relative humidity - 20% to 90% @ 30 C (condensation free), Atmospheric pressure - 700 to 1060 hpa. Ensure a 230 volt (5 amps) fuse spur is installed by means of an approved moisture-resistant wall box (Fig 1.) or by leading an approved cable through the wall for connection outside the room (Fig 2.). The product is supplied with a plug attached, but this will need to be replaced with an IP-rated plug and socket combination appropriate to the location of the socket relative to moisture, or alternatively the product may be hardwired to a mains supply. All electrical connections are to be carried out by a qualified electrician. AC Power to be switched on in advance of OpeMed engineers arrival. All flooring must be level and complete. All walls must be decorated and complete (as per fixing instructions on page 3). Nelson Washbasin 1

Fixing Instructions See below for weight limits, fixing recommendations and requirements. The load on each anchor (screw) has been calculated, both for the product sustaining normal load and the product sustaining maximum load. You will find a list of different anchor types and the load they can sustain when fitted into different wall types and suggestions as to how to reinforce a plasterboard wall with plywood.
