Auto Damage Trainee Entry-level -- Multiple locations available throughout the U.S. This career track is well suited for business and liberal arts majors. Even minor traffic accidents can be traumatic for our policyholders. As an associate in our auto damage operations, you're the customer's link to GEICO and our first line of defense in fraud detection. As an Auto Damage Trainee, you ll attend several weeks of intense training at our industry-leading auto damage school in McLean, Va. While in school, you will learn the ins and outs of automobile damage caused by minor to major accidents and natural disasters. After you successfully complete this training, you ll work at a drive-in or Auto Repair Xpress location, assisting customers that have been involved in an accident. Our classroom and field training will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to become an Auto Damage Adjuster. A typical day as an adjuster includes: interacting with customers and keeping them informed, inspecting vehicle damage, estimating the cost of vehicle repairs, and negotiating equitable settlements.
