To see a full listing of our open positions and apply visit us at To learn more about us, visit Advocacy and Supervision Intern The Advocacy and Supervision Intern will gain experience in a variety of areas within a broker-dealer setting, including data entry, review onsite follow up item and identify areas of improvement. The Advocacy and Supervision Intern will be involved in a variety of areas such reviewing and updating the team Sharepoint training materials site, work on procedures, make updates, and focus on revamping materials for new hires. This internship will offer exposure to other departments, including Recruiting and Transition, to increase the big picture view of the financial services industry for the intern. Great communication skills and an ability to travel on minimum 2-day trips are essential. Ideal focus: Business, Finance, Economics, Public Relations, Communications Accounting Intern The Accounting Department offers a great opportunity within the commissions team, offering an intern experience to learn data and functions across departments (clearing with trading, AUM / Account data with CDW team, basic SQL with IS, PayCheque I and PayChequq II functionality with IS & Licensing.) The Commissions intern will have ownership of tasks and collaboration across these departments. Ideal candidates will be a self-starter, have the ability to multi-task, work well within a team environment, communicate effectively and meet deadlines and have ability to provide business analysis, basic SQL programming and user acceptance testing. Ideal focus: Business Administration, Database Management, Business Process Analysis AMPS Intern The AMPS (Asset Management and Product Services) Intern offers a unique opportunity that would introduce students to the various functions and responsibilities of the AMPS team. The intern will gain industry knowledge through assigned projects and working alongside team members involved with Cambridge s managed account offerings including CAAP 1 (Cambridge Asset Allocation Platform), CMAP (Cambridge Managed Account Platform) and the implementation of WealthPort. Projects assigned will be in line with furthering the success of these offerings. Ideal focus: Finance, Management Application Programmer Intern The Application Programmer Intern will be part of a software development team working on designing, developing, and testing software features and components. Project work will

2 include web programming and business layer design and development. The intern will learn and use standard industry practices such as established coding conventions, writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and pair programming. In addition, they will use Continuous Integration as well as participate in practices according to the Agile/Scrum software development methodology. The intern will use various technologies and tools from the following: C#,.NET Framework, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Management Studio, TeamCity, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and others. Ideal focus: Computer Science Business Development Intern The Business Development Team offers a stimulating internship experience for a student who love problem solving, communicating with people, and developing new strategies. The Business Development Intern will learn how to implement marketing campaigns and send and analyze targeted messages, this allowing the intern to get a look into the nature of a recruiting profession. The Business Development Intern would use Clickback, sendoutcards.com, and work directly with our Public Relations and Creative Marketing Department to develop flyers, booklets, brochures, postcards, financial industry ads, and e- marketing send and analyze targeted messages. In addition, the intern will help implement marketing campaigns developed by Cambridge. Ideal focus: Marketing, Communications, Finance, or similar majors Client Solutions Intern To gain in-depth insight into the world of a broker-dealer, join the Client Solutions Team. The Client Solutions Intern will receive first-hand experience as to how Cambridge repadvisors interact with their clients and prospects. The intern will be given exposure to a wide variety of investment and insurance solutions used to assist the advisor in obtaining the best client solution. Ideal focus: Finance, Economics, or Marketing Branch Support and Supervision CLIC Office Support Intern The Advisor Services Team is offering a student a great internship experience through the Tech Services Intern position. The intern will actively participate in projects related to analysis of activities within CLIC (Cambridge Logistics and Information Center). In addition, the intern will assist with preparation and follow up activities for Roadshow events, including review and analysis of attendee usage statistics. Desirable skills include an aptitude for learning new computer systems, SQL knowledge, strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail. Ideal focus: Technology Support/Development, Public Relations, Marketing, or Data Analysis Compliance Intern The Compliance Department offers a unique opportunity that will introduce a student intern to a broad range of financial industry concepts and ideas. Specifically, the Compliance Intern will be asked to learn Lean techniques and gain experience researching, documenting existing processes, working with various stakeholders both within

3 Compliance and outside of the Compliance Department. Giving the Compliance Intern exposure to multiple areas within Compliance will provide an industry career path adding value immediately should they choose to work in the financial services industry. Ideal focus: Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or Legal Conference Intern The Conference Intern will be exposed to a variety of different areas, including conference and event planning that will help them learn how to market to different audiences including Cambridge advisors, recruits, and wholesalers. Primary responsibilities will include being the content owner for our event mobile app, providing support on all aspects of Cambridge s National Conference, Ignite, and providing customer service to attendees. This experience will allow a student to gain knowledge in a fast-paced event planning and marketing environment within the financial services industry. Ability to travel to our National Conference in Washington D.C. is ideal. Ideal focus: Hospitality (event planning), Business, Marketing, Finance, or similar majors Knowledge Center Intern The Knowledge Center Intern will be challenged with creating 2 classes from scratch and teaching it to associates and other interns. This will involve identifying a topic, researching it, putting together the curriculum, selecting visual aids, activities, etc. to best deliver the content while engaging the attendees. In addition, they will assist with class scheduling, room set- up, contacting speakers, and delivering training. The intern will gain experience in all aspects of Corporate Training by working with our employees and rep-advisors. Candidates should be comfortable with public speaking and presenting. Ideal focus: Communications, Managements, or Marketing Continuous Improvement Intern The Continuous Improvement intern will be provided an in-depth opportunity to facilitate teams, use Lean Theory and tools learned through course work and to build analytical and problem solving skills. This opportunity will provide a hands-on experience with an organization in implementing an Organization Lean assessment. Ideal candidate will have course work, experience or knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Change Management or Supply Chain. Ideal focus: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Statistics CPG Intern Are you looking for an opportunity to use your sales and marketing skills? The Continuity Partners Group (CPG) Intern will actively participate in the annual audit review of member s overrides, as creating marketing materials to be handed out to our members at the National Conference. 4 The External Audit intern will be provided a unique opportunity in learning various aspects of both an independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisor. This opportunity will allow the student intern to work directly with re-advisors. The External Audit intern will actively participate in the development and/or implementation of an electronic system for the submission of Office Sharing Disclosure forms as well as learning a broad range of regulatory aspect within the industry. This opportunity will be located in our Norcross Georgia office. Ideal focus: Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Pre-Law Human Resources Intern Build on classroom learning with this internship opportunity in the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Intern will research and develop additional campus outreach opportunities to gain more exposure at local colleges. Projects will include contributions to company committees, planning the all-company summer event, and working to improve The Next StepTM internship program and enhance the HR department Sharepoint. The intern must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, and have taken some general HR courses. Ideal focus: Human Resources, Business Management, or Communications Due Diligence Intern The Due Diligence Team is offering an internship experience that will help a student develop a base knowledge and understanding of alternative investments that is difficult to obtain in a college classroom. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in real estate investment trusts (REITs), business development companies (BDCs), hedge funds, private equity funds, managed futures, and other alternative investments. Projects will include monitoring and analyzing alternative asset programs. The intern will receive access to a specific program s private placement memorandum (PPM), third party reports, and other due diligence materials. As a finale to the internship, the intern will be asked to research and make a presentation on a specific investment product. Desired skills include a basic knowledge of general financial theory and a strong desire to learn about practical applications of financial theory. Ideal focus: Finance, Economics, or Business Financial Reporting Intern The Finance Intern will gain valuable knowledge in the Cambridge Accounting Department as they assist with the month-quarter-end close process through compilation of financial statements and reconciliation of supporting schedules. In addition, the intern will assist in the review processes for efficiencies and provide suggestions for improvement to management. Candidates must have completed intermediate accounting by the start of the internship. General knowledge of financial accounting and a desire to further knowledge of the accounting cycle is required. Ideal focus: Finance or Accounting Legal/Risk Intern

5 The Legal/Risk Team offers a unique opportunity to research and analyze state and federal laws and self-regulatory organization rules. Projects include drafting letters, reports, memorandums, presentations, and basic contracts; data analysis and review; and interacting with other departments to help complete tasks, resolve issues, or improve processes and procedures. Candidates should be entering into at least their second year of an accredited law school program. Ideal focus: Law Operations Intern This intern will gain valuable experience in the Operations Department at the brokerdealer level. The Operations Intern will work specifically with our Operations Trainer to learn the basics of the Operations process through our specific Operations Training program then enhancing the current training database from the knowledge gain. The ideal candidate would be interested in joining the financial services industry and must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ideal focus: Finance, Management, Business, or similar majors Operations Trading Intern The Operations Trading intern will be exposed to a variety of Trade Desk aspects including but not limited to; implementation of our WealthPort software and onboarding of advisors onto the platform. This internship will serve as the liaison between our ODAT, IS, CAAP and Accounting Teams. This internship requires the ability to be detail oriented, organized, focused, and adaptable with good analysis skills. The ideal candidate will be curious about the financial services industry and will possess a positive attitude. There will be an opportunity to gain a valuable understanding of how specific operational roles contribute to the functioning of each department, while also analyzing productions, and being mindful of potential improvements to this ongoing process. Ideal focus: Computer Science, Finance, or Economics Project Management Intern Gain experience turning an idea into a real world project. At some point in their career, all business professionals are asked to run a project or lead an initiative. The Project Management Intern will gain knowledge in working first hand in Microsoft Project 2010 by managing a real project and interacting in a business environment. In addition, the intern will participate in meetings, document project progress, and learn the importance of communication and teamwork in a project team environment. Over the course of the internship, the intern will have exposure to project methodology and tools to enhance project management skills. Ideal focus: Business Administration, Management, or Finance Technology Consulting Intern For a rewarding technology internship, join Cambridge s Technology Consulting Team for the summer. The Technology Consulting Intern will support vendor due diligence and vendor evaluation requests for new or existing vendors in the program. The intern will also work to enhance Cambridge s relationship with third party technology vendors through

6 calls to discuss products and understand features and benefits. The intern will also be given ample opportunity to network with professionals in the technology and financial industries. Ideal focus: Computer Science IT Infrastructure Intern Join the IT department to gain real world skills relating to a large scale Microsoft Active Directory Forest. The IT intern will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments to gather requirements for completing cross departmental IT projects. Over the course of the internship, the intern will create electronic forms within on SharePoint as well as build and install new associates computers and equipment. Ideal focus: MIS, Computer and IT Administration, Computer Systems Networking IT Production Support Intern Are you looking to develop real world skills relating to a large scale Microsoft Active Directory Forest? The IT Production Support intern will lead the cleanup of Active Directory orphaned accounts and data from Windows Servers, SQL Server, and Exchange.
