Fill out the online form at http://www.vroc.ca/vroc/en/experts-on-demand-sign-up/ 2. Once Partners In Research has processed your request, you will receive: one email from vrocpc@pirweb.org with your username/password for ExpertBook one email from no-reply@zoom.us with an invitation to activate your Zoom account Page 1 of 10
3. Click the activation link in your email and create your Zoom profile as shown below. (1-2min) 4. Click Go to update your profile information and/or add a profile image. Page 2 of 10
To install Zoom software on your desktop/laptop computer: 1. Go to http://pirweb.zoom.us/download. Click the Download button under Zoom Client for Meetings. If prompted, click to Run / Launch the Zoom application. 2. Open Zoom from the Start menu (PC) or Applications folder (Mac) and Click Sign In. 3. Enter your email and password, Check the box for Remember me and click Sign In. Page 3 of 10

Go to http://pirweb.zoom.us/test to join a test meeting (this will automatically install the Zoom application if you have not done so already). If prompted, click to Run / Launch the Zoom application. Page 5 of 10
2. If prompted, enter your name and email address. Click Join. 3. Check the box next to Automatically join audio by computer 4. Click Join Audio Conference by Computer. 5. When finished testing, click Leave Meeting in the bottom right corner of the Zoom meeting window. Page 6 of 10
To share your screen in a Zoom video call: 1. Open the program or document that you wish to share. 2. Once you re participating in a Zoom video call, hover your mouse over the video window to make the control buttons visible. 3. Click the green Share Screen button at the bottom middle. 4. In the pop-up, select the icon for the window you wish to share. 5. Click Share Screen in the bottom right. (A green outline appears around the content you are sharing.) If you wish to draw attention to specific sections of your shared content, try clicking Annotate in the bar of control buttons. Explore the drawing tools and the spotlight function. You can click and drag this toolbar out of the way if needed. When you re finished annotating, you can click the red X to make the annotation toolbar disappear. 6. When you re finished sharing, click the red Stop Share button. Your webcam video will go back to filling the video call window for the other party in the call. To install and test Zoom on your ipad/android tablet: 1. Search for Zoom Cloud Meetings in the App store (for ios) or Google Play Store (for Android). 2. Install the Zoom Cloud Meetings app. Page 7 of 10
3. Open the app and sign in. 4. Tap Meet Now and select Video Meeting. 5. If prompted with a message that says To hear others please join audio, tap Call using Internet Audio. 6. When finished, tap the screen to make the control buttons visible and tap End Meeting in the top left corner. Tap End Meeting in the drop-down menu. Page 8 of 10
7. Tap Settings in bottom left corner. 8. Tap your name/email at the top. 9. Tap Sign Out. (Otherwise, you continue to appear online as Mobile in the Zoom contact list even when you shut down the app and it is no longer using data.) Page 9 of 10
