Arathane Filled and unfilled polyurethane/pu casting resin 04.05.2012
Polyurethane casting resin / PUR resin Electronic encapsulating / Electric encapsulating The following product overview covers PU casting resins for electrical and electronical applications. These materials are used as electrical sealing compounds or electronics sealing compound assigned for casting of construction units and building blocks. Typical requirements for the use of casting resins are isolation abilities, humidity protection, resistance to thermal shocks, self-extinguishing characteristics according UL 94 V0 (UL V0), Know How protection, heat dissipation and much more beside these. Short description with the substantial characteristics of the PU casting: Arathane CW 5620/HY 5610 UL 94 V0, thermal class B (130 C), Shore A 80 The casting resin is very well usable under standard atmosphere. It has an excellent capillary and flow characteristics. It is used usually as casting resin of electronics building groups and is available in blue color and anthracite coal (almost black). Availability: 1kg, 25kg and 250kg packaging Arathane CW 5650/HY 5610 UL 94 V0, thermal class E (120 C), Shore A 78, Tg -47 C The PU casting resin is temperature flexible and therefore particularly well for change of climate-stressed and course-sensitive construction units like e.g. SMD devices. The heat conductivity with 0,5 W/m*K provides the necessary heat dissipation. Availability in grey: 25kg, 250kg and 1000kg packaging Arathane XW 949-1/HY 5610 thermal class B (130 C), Shore A 60, Tg -62 The casting resin is characterized by its high flexibility at low temperatures. The less water absorption with simultaneous flexibility and the good adhesive properties are most important. This product is in charge as sealing compound in sensoric systems. As unfilled PUR casting resin with a density of 1.0g/cm3 it is comparatively light and can with the heat conductivity from approx. 0,1W/m*K be used for thermal insulation. Availability in blue: 25kg packaging Arathane CW 3200/HY 5611-1 thermal class E (120 C), Shore A 83 The casting resin is very convenient and favorably used therefore for large volume applications. The casting compound is hard and tough. Availability in beige: 25kg, 250kg packaging
Arathane XB 5633/HY 5610 UL 94 V0, thermal class B (130 C), Shore A 89 The casting resin is similar to CW 5620/HY 5610 but possesses however a higher heat conductivity of 0,63 W/m*K. It finds a typical way of application as electronics encapsulating compound e.g. for transformers. Availability in black: 25kg packaging Arathane VB U 6920/U001B UL 94 V0, thermal class F (155 C), Shore D 60-70, Tg +60 C The casting resin is used for condensers. It has a very short gel time and makes possible high-productive processes. The casting compound is characterized by a low dielectric constant in a large temperature range. Availability in white: 250kg packaging Arathane VB U 6910 ACC/HY 5611-1 UL 94 V0, thermal class F (155 C), Shore D 60-70, Tg +60 C Similar to VB U 6920/U001B this sealing compound is used for condensers. By the somewhat slower gel time the casting resin is perfect for larger casting volumes per construction. The PU casting resin is very inexpensive. Availability in black: 1400kg IBC container Arathane VB U 6942 /VB U001B UL 94 V0, thermal class E (120 C), Shore A 82, Tg +55 C The casting resin is used e.g. for casting of cost sensible electronic devices. It is poured under standard atmosphere. Availability in black: 25kg, 250kg and 1400kg container Availability in beige: 250kg packaging Arathane CW 5631/HY 5610 UL 94 V0, thermal class F (155 C), Shore D80, Tg +47 C This PUR casting resin is used e.g. for the stator casting of engines or in explosion protected applications. Availability in black: 1kg and 25kg packaging If one of the indicated package sizes fit not to your conceptions please call us, Phone: 069/8383 26-0 and speak to our technical Sales they will be able to deal with your requirements.
