Wide product range & service close to you Introduction NLMK Europe - Strip Products is made up of three key production sites and a range of service centres, all of which are operating as one profit center. The sites are located in the heart of the historical steel consuming industries of France, Germany and the Benelux ensuring competitive logistics to local customers. At the same time the proximity of North Sea ports ensures competitive incoming slab logistics and supports exports. The hot strip mill in NLMK La Louvière makes the wide range of products needed by both direct customers and the demanding automotive applications serviced by the coating units in NLMK Coating and NLMK Strasbourg. The service centres complete the supply chain that can offer customers the full spectrum from basic structural and forming steels to sophisticated advanced high strength steels. In addition NLMK Europe - Strip Products has been expanding into steel markets where business is conducted on term contracts and has a growing portfolio of processors and end-users looking for continuous support from a trusted partner. Lean and customer focused, NLMK Europe - Strip Products has the flexibility and speed of response customers need in today s market. The Group has opened sales agencies in the key industrial markets to meet demand for its products locally, enhancing the proximity to the final user. Its biggest office is located in Germany, actively selling the steel from its two Business Units. Our sales teams are in daily contact with all the European mills, creating an efficient and customer oriented interface between production constraints and customer specifications. Along with NLMK Europe - Strip Products, NLMK Europe - Plate produces heavy plates - hot rolled or forged - and ingots in its plants in Ittre (BE), Frederiksvaerk (DK) and Verona (IT).

Continuous improvement at all levels of the organization is helping the company to upgrade steadily its product range as well as service and flexibility. This has made of NLMK La Louvière a trusted supplier to its industrial partners. NLMK COATING (Beautor): cold rolled & electro galvanised steels NLMK STRASBOURG: hot dip galvanised & organic coated steels France-based NLMK Coating (Beautor) & NLMK Strasbourg represent the Group s coated steels activities in Europe. A wide variety of steel grades is enhanced with the multiple choice of coatings and surface treatments or finishes. Besides the cold rolled product range, NLMK Coating is an important supplier of electro galvanised products. NLMK Strasbourg is a specialist in metallic (hot dip galvanised) and organic coatings. The two coating companies are reliable suppliers to the automotive and construction industries and to customers demanding a high level of service and product quality. SERVICE CENTRES & DISTRIBUTION The Strip Product Business is backed up by a network of steel service centres and distribution sites in France and Belgium providing a wide range of transformation services for strip products. The Steel Service Centres dedicate more than half of their output to the automotive sector, with the rest going to general industry including construction and metallic furniture, for any size of customer. The majority of the steel supply comes from NLMK Europe plants in Belgium and France (La Louvière, Beautor & Strasbourg) and most of the «just in time» deliveries are by road. The strength of our service centres lies in their proximity to the Group s production companies as well as to their end customers. A growing proportion of supplies and deliveries involves high added value flat steels.
