Neal K alis - Attorney and Counselor Neal Kalis is a highly experienced, dedicated and a solution oriented attorney who is recognized for his multi-disciplined transactional practice, which encompasses corporate, probate, real estate, land use and zoning law. Mr. Kalis is often called upon to handle the most complex of real estate transactions. In 2006, he represented a seller in Fort Lauderdale throughout a consummated $80,000,000 beachfront hotel transaction from 1999 thru 2003. He served as the lead land use attorney in obtaining the approval for a 28 story condominium on the previous and historic Lauderdale Beachfront Hotel Property. Scott Kleiman - Attorney and Counselor M. Scott Kleiman is an experienced and dedicated trial and transactional attorney who has practiced law in Dade, Broward and throughout Florida for more than 25 years. He represents clients in the areas of real estate and corporate transactional matters, after devoting many years of his practice to commercial litigation. He continues to litigate select matters for his clients, primarily in commercial and real estate based actions including lender-creditor matters, foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, and partnership and shareholder disputes, consumer and collection matters. Mr. Kleiman s real estate transactional representation and experience includes: the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real property; real estate secured lending, including construction, term, acquisition and refinancing of secured loans; commercial and residential leasing; representation of institutional lenders and developers; the sale, acquisition and financing of hotel properties; workouts and restructuring of problem real estate loans; condominium formation and conversions; and, land-use and zoning representation before governmental entities. Tami R. Wolfe - Attorney and Counselor Tami R. Wolfe is an experienced trial attorney who has practiced law in Broward County for more than 20 years. Prior to her arrival at KALIS & KLEIMAN she was the Senior Litigating Attorney and Managing Partner of a litigation law firm. She joined KALIS, KLEIMAN & WOLFE in 2015. Ms. Wolfe concentrates in the litigation and trial of significant negligence cases involving Automobile Accidents, Premise Liability, Negligent Security, Wrongful Death, Catastrophic Brain and Spinal Cord injuries, Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Liability. She also practices Qui Tam Law under the False Claims Act which authorizes private citizens with information about fraud against the government to initiate a civil action on the government s behalf aiding the government in redressing fraud. When first entering private practice, Ms. Wolfe worked for a prominent defense firm representing insurance companies. After gaining invaluable experience working on the defense side, Ms. Wolfe realized her passion was more aligned with seeking justice for accident victims and injured people. Growing up in Florida, Ms. Wolfe obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. Ms. Wolfe is admitted to practice in all Circuit and County Courts in the State of Florida and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. While enrolled in law school, Ms. Wolfe became acquainted with the Guardian Ad Litem program, which provides independent advocates for abused and neglected children. In recognition of her legal service, she was named Guardian Ad Litem Pro Bono Volunteer of the year in 2001.
