First Aid Courses First Aid Courses Our First Aid courses are awarded by Qualsafe. Qualsafe Awards is an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation, established by experts in the first aid training industry. First Aid at Work Level 3 (QCF) This 18 hour course is designed for people who have a specific responsibility to provide First Aid in the work place and has volunteered or been nominated to fulfil the statutory duty of care as laid down by the HSE(First Aid) regulations 1981. On completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate of achievement in Level 3 First Aid at Work valid for 3 years awarded by Qualsafe. 3 days Cost: 140.00 per person First Aid at Work Annual Refresher Level 2 This course is designed for qualified first aiders who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide First Aid when dealing with an emergency situation, who need to refresh their skills as recommended by the HSE. 1/2 day Cost: 35.00 per person > Visit blackburn.ac.uk 5
First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 (QCF) This course is essential for those holding a three-year First Aid certificate nearing expiry. Delegates will be accepted on the course within the last 3 months validity of their current certificate. Please note certificates must be produced as evidence on commencement of the course. E-learning Courses Manual Handling in the Workplace This is a manual handling course that is applicable to anyone who may need to lift items as part of their duties. The information is applicable to any workplace environment. Back injury is the main reason for absence from the workplace and one third of all reported injuries that result in three days off work are caused by manual handling accidents.
