Mode of offer: Doctor of Psychology (Clinical, Health, Forensic) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) are full-time only Master of Psychology (Industrial and Organisational) is full-time and has some part-time places Duration: Masters are completed in 2 years full-time Doctorates are completed in 3 years full-time
Estimated Intake: 20 students into the Doctorate Psychology program at Burwood (10 into Clinical, 5 each into Health and Forensic) 20 students into Master of Psychology (Industrial and Organisational) 20 students at Geelong into Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Entry requirements: At least a high H2A or equivalent in 4 th year Honours or Graduate Diploma of Psychology Selection by application, referee report and interview Can apply directly into doctoral programs from honours don t have to enrol in a Masters program first
Fee structure: Master of Psychology (Clinical) is HECS Master of Psychology (Industrial and Organisational) is full fee-paying Doctor of Psychology is a higher degree by research, so no fees Doctor of Psychology students may apply for a scholarship - competitive Units in all courses are organised so that students may work a maximum of one day per week
Doctor of Psychology and Masters include: coursework research thesis placement experience Clinical programs have strong links with Eastern Health and Barwon Health (clinics and joint appointments) Other placements variety of supervised placements have been established for all programs

Doctor of Psychology and Master of Psychology (Clinical) courses provide training in: assessment therapy psychopathology psychological assessment professional and ethical practice Curriculum is evidence based, with a strong but not exclusive focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Doctor of Psychology courses at Burwood Major focus on: Clinical couple and family treatment Forensic child and family interventions, the psychologist within the legal system Health - preventative health, health promotion, clinical health
Master of Psychology (Industrial and Organisational) 9 coursework units 3 placement units 4 thesis units Strong applied focus All course work organised to run on one day of the week for most trimesters
All programs are fully accredited and staff have strong academic and professional credentials Completion of post graduate professional programs enable: Registration with Psychology Board of Australia Membership Australian Psychological Society Completion of Doctor of Psychology enables: A pathway to full membership of relevant APS Colleges (Clinical, Health, Forensic) following one further year of college supervision Completion of Masters program enables: A pathway to full membership to the relevant APS College (Clinical or Organisational) following an extra two years of supervised work experience
Employment graduates from all courses readily gain employment, frequently from placement agencies, prior to completion
