Use System settings to customize display setting for own use. Where to get Information about model. Revolve cut Draft Shell Revolve Extrude Cut Revolve Ellipse Hole Mirror Sweep
LESSON 4 Extrusion Learn that the first solid feature in part creation is EXTRUSION. There are four basic protrusion: Extrusion, Revolve, Blend and Sweep. Understand the overall function, form and fit of part before plan a design ( Design Intent). Learn to define and set Material type. Understand Setup & Environment settings and feature Dashboard.
LESSON 5 Datums, Layers and Sections Learn to create Datums to locate features, set datum planes for Geo. Tol. and use it to establish Model Sectioning. Utilize of Info command to extract Relation information. Enhance model visualization with the use of Color and Shading commands. Learn to use Layers to organize features.
LESSON 6 Revolve Features Learn to master the Revolve Tool. Known the use of Chamfer, threads and standard Holes commands. Perform a variety of tasks from Organize drop down menu in the Browser: New folder, Rename, Cut, copy, Paste, Delete and Add to common folder. Learn some basic set up when create a new part: properties. Using Model Player to observe how a part was built. Clamp Ball Clamp Swivel Clamp Foot
LESSON 7 Feature Operations Perform Rib Tool to create a thin fin or web that attached to a part. Utilize Family Table to generate iteration of the original model. Familiarize with Copy, Paste and Paste Special commands.
LESSON 8 Assemblies-Bottom-Up Design Utilize Assemble command to add component to assembly and create subassembly. Understand and use a variety of Assembly Constraints Learn how to modify a component constraint and edit a constraint value. Run clearance and interference check.
