PROBLEM STATEMENT Geller (1999): Behavior become the main problem contributing to the accident at the workplaces. SOCSO (2012): Compensation expenses paid due to an accident is about RM 2 billion Heinrich(1931): 80% to 85% from the accidents and injuries at the workplaces are caused by unsafe acts.

DEFINITION Behavioural-based Safety or BBS is a process and approach to improve safety and health performance at the workplaces through observation and feedback to the human (employer/employee) to change their behavior. (Mann, 2014: Geller, 1994).

Objectives of study: 1. To Identify BBS factors and components contributing to accidents 2.To identify the level of BBS awareness in manufacturing industry and building construction
