DAY THREE Coastal Explorations DAY FOUR Travel to Crystal Creek Lodge Today is a day full of adventure, and entirely up to you. From mild to wild, see the Kenai Coast on land and sea. Hike Kachemak State Park and take in the shoreline through spruce forests. Enjoy a guided kayak journey, exploring the Herring Islands and Kachemak Bay. Visit Seldovia Village, where Russian invaders established a sea otter hunting station in the late 1700 s. About 25 minutes by boat from Homer, the lodge sits on eleven acres surrounded by tide pools, natural estuaries, and twenty acres of old growth Sitka spruce, which provides a unique trail system right from the large oceanside deck. The property has a distinctly Alaskan maritime feel with the quiet cove offering a serene space in which to notice the resident marine life. Crystal Creek lodge King Salmon, AK Located five miles east of King Salmon, this fishing lodge is considered one of the finest in Alaska. Two private cabins are located 75 feet from the main lodge. Amenities include a mud rom with lockers and wader dryers, laundry service, a bar and game room, and two separate relaxation/reading areas.
