ABOUT GO GREEN DAY Thank you for your interest in participating in this year s Go Green Day. Every October we run Go Green Day and ask businesses throughout Wales to join in and help protect an area of tropical forest the size of Wales. This is an important and ongoing challenge. Tropical forests play an important and direct role in helping counteract climate change they currently absorb nearly a fifth of the world s man-made CO 2 emissions every year. With your help we can protect even more forests. This year we are making it even easier for you to get involved. Our Go Green Day pack has ideas on how you can raise money and awareness within your workplace. We have posters and we will be giving out certificates to all those that have contributed to Go Green Day 2016. All money raised will be doubled by Size of Wales. If you raise 250 then 500 goes directly to the forest projects we work with in Africa and South America
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED Register your Go Green Champion(s) for your organisation and we will provide support and resources to help make your event a success Tell us about your fundraising idea and we can help share and promote your activity online Go Large on Go Green Day - aim to raise 1000 and become an official Forest Partner If you want to Go Large on Go Green Day and aim to raise 1000 then you can select one of the top five projects to donate to. You will become an official forest partner and your organisations logo will be added to the project page. Choose your project here: www.sizeofwales.org.uk/projects.html
