About Yale-New Haven Hospital As one of the nation s oldest and best hospitals, Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary, family-focused care in more than 100 medical specialty areas. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE The 1,541-bed Yale-New Haven Hospital includes Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, Yale-New Haven Children s Hospital and Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. In addition, YNHH includes ambulatory satellites such as its Shoreline Medical Center, North Haven Medical Center and Old Saybrook Medical Center. Yale-New Haven Hospital s Senior Operations Group is led by its President and includes the Hospital s senior leadership team.
ADMINISTRATIVE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM The one-year Administrative Fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital provides an opportunity for Administrative Fellows to work directly with members of the senior leadership team to achieve operational objectives and prepare for leadership positions in academic medical centers. The Administrative Fellow is a contributing member of the administrative team and reports to the President of Yale-New Haven Hospital. The Fellow also interacts with and supports members of the Senior Management team. Project assignments are made based on hospital initiatives underway during the Administrative Fellow s tenure, with an attempt to meet the specific interests and needs of the Administrative Fellow. Project Management Analyst, Children s and Women s Services, Yale-New Haven Hospital Management Analyst, Yale-New Haven Hospital REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master s degree in health services administration, business administration, public health or a closely related field (CAHME accredited programs strongly preferred) Relevant health care work experience strongly preferred Proven academic excellence Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Self-motivation Service excellence orientation and exemplary customer/patient service skills A commitment to YNHHS values including integrity, accountability, respect, compassion and patient-centered care
