Now the Thank You s Thank you to all the people that helped during the day putting out RC s. Thanks to Mark Butler and Jean Parker for sorting out clocks and marshals, I know they would have appreciated a few more marshals coming along. Thanks to Peter Coles and Dick Gough for doing course opening car, I think they had fun and to Tom Pile and Rob for course closing I know they enjoyed themselves. To Sue, Dawn, Jan and Georgia for signing on and anyone else who has helped. Also Samantha for doing recovery and pulling Ian Orford and Bob Jones out of a ditch and pulling the Whittocks out of a ford/river. Highs and Lows The highs came from the crews on the night and after in emails saying how they enjoyed the event and will be back next year. If the Cilwendeg in Wales hadn t been on the same night we may have had more entries. The low was not knowing who was going to be doing what before the event. Still it all worked out in the end. Peter Barnard (Clerk of the Course)

Tommy is a young boy, just potty trained. When he goes to the bathroom though, Tommy manages to hit everything but the toilet. So his mom has to go in and clean up after him. After two weeks, she has had enough, and takes Tommy to the doctor. After the examination, the doctor said, "His unit is too small. An old wives' tale is to give him two slices of toast each morning, and his unit will grow so he can hold it and aim straight." The next morning Tommy jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to the kitchen. There on the table, are twelve slices of toast. "Mom!" Tommy yells. "The doctor said I only had to eat two slices of toast." "I know." said his mother. "The other ten are for your father."
