Picture Window Gifts can be personalized by attaching family photos to cards, boxes or gift bags. These designs are accented with ribbon, layered paper and photo corners to create a scrapbooking look. 1

Card Difficulty Easy Materials Cream colored plain gift card (plain gift cards can be found at your local craft store) Beige and burgundy paisley patterned scrapbooking or craft paper Burgundy scrapbooking paper 4 Beige photo corners 1/8-inch wide brown satin ribbon Digital photo and photo paper Scotch Precision Scissors (7 for cutting paper and ribbon) Scotch Permanent Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing photo) Instructions 1. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the paisley patterned scrapbooking paper the entire length and width of the front of the card. 2. Using the Scotch Permanent Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the paisley paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the gift card, lining up the edges of the paper with the edges of the card. 2

3. Use digital photo software to apply a sepia effect to the photo. Print it and cut to the desired size. 4. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the burgundy craft paper 1 inch larger than the length and width of the photo. 5. Slide a photo corner onto each corner of the photo. 6. Using the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue, apply glue to the wrong side of the photo and photo corners and attach it to the center of the burgundy craft paper. 7. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut two pieces of the brown satin ribbon the entire length of the front of the card. 3

8. Using the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue, attach the ribbons to the front of the card about 1/4 inch from the left edge of the card, allowing a 1/8 inch space between the two ribbons. Small amounts of glue can be added to the cut edges of each side of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 9. Using Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply glue to the wrong side burgundy craft paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the card, centering the paper between the ribbon and the right edge of the card. 4

Gift Bag Difficulty Easy Materials Burgundy or natural gift bag with stiff handles (plain gift bags are inexpensive and easy to find at your local craft or party store) Beige and burgundy paisley patterned scrapbooking or craft paper Burgundy scrapbooking paper 8 Beige photo corners 1/8-inch wide brown satin ribbon Digital photo and photo paper Burgundy decorative tissue paper Scotch Precision Scissors (7 for cutting paper and ribbon) Scotch Permanent Glue Stick (for attaching scrapbooking paper) Scotch Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon) Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing the photo) Instructions 1. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut a piece of the paisley patterned scrapbooking paper the entire length and width of the front of the bag. 2. Using the Scotch Permanent Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the paisley patterned paper, especially around the edges. Attach it to the front of the bag, lining up the edges of the paper with the edges of the bag. 5

3. Use digital photo software to apply a sepia effect to two photos. Print them and cut to the desired size. 4. Using Scotch Precision Scissors cut two pieces of the burgundy craft paper 1/2 inch larger than the length and width of each photo. 5. Slide a photo corner onto each corner of the photos. 6. Using the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue, apply glue to the wrong side of the photo and photo corners and attach them to the center of the each of the pieces of the burgundy craft paper. 7. Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue, apply glue to the wrong side of each piece of the burgundy craft paper, especially around the edges. Attach them to the front of the bag, centering the two pieces of paper evenly between top and sides of the bag. 6

8. Cut two pieces of the brown satin ribbon the length of the sides of the gift bag and two pieces of ribbon the length of the top and bottom of the gift bag. 9. Using the precision tip of Scotch Clear Glue, attach each piece of the brown satin ribbon to each edge of the front of the gift bag. Small amounts of glue can be added to the cut edges of each side of the ribbon to prevent fraying. 7

10. To cover the handles, apply a small amount of Scotch Quick Drying Tacky Glue to a few inches of the back of the brown satin ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. 11. Continue to add small amounts of glue to the ribbon a few inches at a time, slightly overlapping the ribbon as you continue to wrap the ribbon around the handle. 12. Finish by cutting the ribbon and gluing the end behind the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag. Repeat this process with the other handle. 13. Fill the bag with layered tissue paper. 8
