Pick up from the airport to take you to your hotel. In the afternoon we will start our City tour in Lima. Our excursion will show you a great combination of the best and more attractive places in Lima during the pre- Hispanic, colonial and Modern ages. Ancestral Lima: In the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site; built in the IV AD century, we will appreciate a panoramic view of the whole Huaca (Pyramid), which was a magnificent ceremonial and administrative center. At the same time, the Huaca Pucllana was considered by the Incas as a holy village. COLONIAL LIMA: Our tour includes the Paseo de la República, San Martin Square and the Main Square, with their different buildings: the Government Palace, the Archbishop s Palace, the Cathedral and Lima City Hall. 1
In the historic Center, we will visit one of its most beautiful buildings, the Banco Central de Reserva Museum. In this place you can appreciate the treasures of Peru: fine selection artifacts like gold objects, ceramics and textiles of various pre- Columbian cultures, from its origins to the Incas Period, that captivates and impresses visitors. We will discover the monumental Convent of San Francisco, which is the largest exhibition of religious art in America. We can admire the Choir Room and the Monks Library, the Sacristy, with its collection of Zurbaran and Rivera. CONTEMPORARY LIMA. We are going to see the most traditional residential areas of Lima: El Olivar Park in San Isidro, Miraflores and Larco Mar, a distinctive tourist center of contemporary Lima and vantage point to enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.. Day 02: LIMA AREQUIPA Transfer to the Airport to take the flight with destination the City of Arequipa. Arrival in the City of Arequipa, reception at the airport and transfer to the Hotel chosen. We will start our 3 hours City tour, including the Convent of Santa Catalina, Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church and its beautifully- painted chapel, and the typical districts Yanahuara Cayma and with a magnificent view of the Misti volcano. After the tour, we will transfer you to your hotel. D ay 03: AREQUIPA COLCA CANYON Early in the morning after breakfast, we proceed to a wonderful trip to Colca Canyon. We ll make the ascent from the road leading along the snowy Yura Chachani Mountain and reach the Natural Reserve of Pampa Cañahuas, spacious habitat for Vicuña and Alpacas. Later on, we arrive at the grasslands of Toccra where we will see a diverse variety of birds. Also we will be at Patapampa and Mirador de los Andes, located at 15900 feet high where we stop to enjoy the charm of the landscape. Finally, we start the descent to the town of Chivay charming and traditional village in the mountains. We will have lunch in Chivay (not included). Transportation to the hotel in the Valley. Free evening time to visit the hot springs and medicinal in the region. We will spend the night in Colca Canyon. 2 Day 04: CROSS OF THE CONDOR (Condor view, back to Arequipa ) Early breakfast to start our journey towards the Cross of the Condor, located 26 miles from Chivay and explore its captivating landscape on the shores of Canyon. Later we reach the famous Cruz del Condor, where we stop for about an hour to appreciate the amazing and stoning flight of many condors, which occurs only in the early hours of the day. The viewpoint is located near the point where the canyon reaches its greatest depth, so the show is
doubly rewarding. Short walks will continue from contemplating the beauty of the Colca Canyon. Visit the towns of Pinchillo, Maca, Anchoma. Yanque and the unique viewpoints and Choquetico Antahuilque. At noon we return to Chivay. After lunch (not included), we continue the trip back to the city of Arequipa. Day 05: AREQUIPA PUNO Breakfast in the hotel. At an opportune time transfer to the airport to take the plane to Juliaca, Puno. Transfer from Juliaca Airport to your hotel in Puno. The rest of the day to relax and get use to the altitude. Day 06: LAKE TITICACA UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS After breakfast we head to the harbor to start our trip to the Uros and Taquile. We begin our adventure aboard a motor boat on the Titicaca lake, where we will visit the floating islands of the Uros, ancient inhabitants of the lake. These islands are built artificially on reeds, plant and long thin leaves that grows in the lake. Continuing the trip, we will visit the Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua- speaking Indians. On landing we head towards the town by a stone path. In this way we can admire the natural beauty that characterizes this place and its people. At Taquile island, we will enjoy an exquisite typical lunch. Later on, we will start our descend into the dock to take our boat back to Puno. Estimated arrive in Puno : 17:00 hrs. Overnight at the hotel Day 07: SULLUSTANI - CUZCO After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our visit to the Sillustani Ruins (Depending on what times is your flight).then continue with the transfer to the airport in the city of Juliaca to take the plane to Cuzco. In Cuzco, transfer from the airport to your hotel. In the afternoon, guided visit to the city of Cuzco and surrounding buildings: Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the palace Qoricancha and the convent of Santo Domingo. We continue the tour of the Sacsayhuaman fortress, within which we will see the underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater of Kenko, the Inca Baths Tambomachay with its system of aqueducts, canals and waterfalls, the military complex and Pukapukara Inka fortress Sacsayhuaman. Day 08: CUZCO AND MACHU PICHU Early in the morning we start our trip to MachuPichu, going first to the train station in Cuzco/Poroy. The Ruins of MachuPichu is located 113 km (71 milles) from Cuzco by train. Also is located at 2350 m (7700 feet high), as part of the subtropical zone in the jungle, with an average annual temperature of 13 º C during the day. You can clearly distinguish two seasons during the year. From November to March is the rainy season and dry one from April to October. MachuPichu was revealed to the world by Hiram Bingham on July 24, 1911, the archaeological site is divided into two sectors: agriculture and urban split in venues such as: monitoring station, cemetery and rock than ritual, Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, group roa sacred temple of the three windows, main temple, shrine or tomb, doors, fountains and plazas. After discovering all these places and enjoy some peaceful time in Machu Pichu, we will be back to the bus station to get lunch then take you to your hotel in Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night. Day 09: MACHU PICHU AND CUZCO Excellent opportunity to wake up early and enjoy a beautiful sunrise as well as stroll around the town of Aguas Calientes and visit its hot springs. Then you will have time to do any of the following activities: (not included in price) 1. Second visit the Machu Picchu. ( second ticket no included) 2. For the adventurous, climb the Huayna Picchu recommend (if its not raining) from where you can appreciate the extent of Machu Picchu, even more impressive from the height and distance. We continue the journey through the Sacred Valley to reach the province of Urubamba where later we are going to have lunch(included). In the afternoon we go to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we see his famous Inca terraces and temples, and finally visit the fortress of the same name. With the completion of our visit, we return to the city of Cuzco. Day 11: CUZCO - LIMA Breakfast in the hotel on time transfer to airport for flight to Lima.
