As a senior site Manager for Kier Western (the trading name at that time) I purchased the PB500 from yourselves through our buying department in Plymouth in July 2006. I and several of my foreman used that machine and also lent it to other sites until gradually the purchased their own. We found this to be an extremely easy machine to use (after watching the DVD supplied with the machine) and then training each other, I used it on my sites until December 2011 when I retired. The machine is still with one of my foreman and was recalibrated again recently. I found over the years that recalibration was as efficient as can be, with pre addressed packaging supplied by yourselves. It was returned to us in a few days with no problems. I would imagine that this exercise will be repeated for several years yet. John Rail, Senior Site Manager (Retired) We have purchased the Parker Bell PB500 PAT Testing unit to allow us to pre-test IT and portable electrical equipment before shipping to our holiday parks throughout the South West. The unit is simple to use and robust and the training course, which we purchased alongside the unit, was as simple to understand as the unit is easy to use. All-in-all the service from Parker Bell has been fantastic. Keith Durston, Park Dean Holiday Parks The PB500 has proved to be very user friendly and simple to use. It is good that it is portable and light and does not take long to set up. A valuable asset to our business. We would highly recommend Parker Bell for the PAT testing training course. It was a very enjoyable day and the trainer provided a friendly atmosphere as well as clear tuition so that we were able to gain confidence and adequate knowledge. There was plenty of time for questions and discussion, the small group worked particularly well. Barrie Miller & Rachel Fradgley, Property maintenance Team, North Devon
I decided to purchase a number of Parker Bell PB500 PAT testers as their ease of use makes for straightforward training. We have trained over 50 staff to use the PB500, helping us keep up with regular inspections and making significant savings on cost and time. Tony Richardson, City College of Brighton and Hove Thank you for all your kindness, assistance and training on the PAT Testing course. It was an informal and relaxing atmosphere enabling each to interact and share much, in addition to having the time which was ample to physically contact the PAT Testing itself. From my perspective a most thoroughly and enjoyable day, more importantly one I learned much about from a PAT testing perspective. Each time I had occasion to phone the office I was offered every assistance by staff and I thank them too. David Bennett, Trauma999, Swansea I would like to say thank you for a very interesting and informative day yesterday. All attendees had different backgrounds but worked well together. You created a comfortable atmosphere throughout the day which made it enjoyable for all who attended. Stewart Pringle, Gabriel House Residential Resettlement Project, Exeter The Parker Bell PB500 portable appliance checker was chosen because it is very easy to use, is absolutely right for the appliances that the company wants to test and the price is right. They have also proved very successful with the people who are using them. Janice Frowde, Apetito Ltd
