CONTENTS»» HeatProfile Product Range Page No HeatProfile have been designing and manufacturing energy efficient, unobtrusive architectural heating systems since 1986. The heat emitters, made of aluminium, are designed to resemble and replace architectural features such as skirting, coving, sills etc. All HeatProfile products are energy efficient, environmentally friendly and recyclable and do not have the appearance of conventional heating. All HeatProfile water based products are copper lined throughout, ensuring a very long and corrosion free life. HeatProfile systems, available in water based or electric form, are suitable for all types of heating requirements and are designed to blend with their surroundings, whether new build or refurbishment, ultra modern, period or traditional. Ease of installation ensures that they are less invasive to the fabric of the building as well as reducing installation times and costs.» Applications HeatProfile systems have been successfully installed in a wide variety of buildings, in the private, commercial and public building sectors, including:» Major Property Developments - penthouses - apartments - houses» Residential - self-build - houses - bungalows - log cabins» Refurbishments and Extensions - loft conversions - conservatories» Commercial - offices - hotels - restaurants» Public Buildings - museums - libraries - churches» Healthcare - hospitals - surgeries - care homes» Education - nurseries - schools - universities - colleges» Secure Units - prisons - YOI» Leisure - fitness centres - sports clubs - squash courts - village halls» Portable Buildings - mobile homes - site offices - modular buildings» Transport - narrow boats - horse-boxes - caravans We offer a free design and estimation service and are pleased to liaise with clients to ensure the smooth running of projects, however large or small. HEATPROFILE RADIANT SKIRTING HEATING» Skirting Heating / Perimeter Heating / Threshold Heating WHY RADIANT HEAT IS BETTER» Full central heating without radiators or underfloor heating» Energy efficient radiant heat - lower fuel bills - improved comfort» Fast response to temperature demand - heating up and cooling down» Completely unobtrusive - decorative - functional» Space saving - freedom of choice with furniture placement» Cleaner and healthier living - low allergen» Preferred supplier to the National Asthma Campaign Water based or electric option» Compatible with existing systems» Made of aluminium for the ultimate heat transference - strong, durable and lightweight» Water based system is copper lined throughout for long, corrosion free life Conventional radiators, or forced air systems, need to produce draught in order to function. Draughts create air turbulence, cold spots across the floor and in corners; excessive heat also collects at ceiling level. Temperature variations mean unpredictable performance and energy waste. Airborne dust, carpet fibres and bacteria also circulate more easily, creating a less healthy environment. British Gas tested HeatProfile (radiant) against a panel radiator (convective) in a special environmental room at the University of Portsmouth. It was found that whilst using far less energy, the radiant warmth produced by HeatProfile gave even temperature conditions from floor to ceiling without cold spots or draughts, so giving improved comfort levels, a cleaner, healthier environment and at lower operational cost. (See diagrams).» Radiator (convective) Requires draught to function, causing uneven temperatures and cold spots, resulting in unpredictable performance and energy waste. Quick and easy installation» No special site preparation required» Continuous panel lengths to 6 metres - minimising joins» Easy to trim on site» Follows curves and angles Skirting Heating in luxury riverside apartment.» Quality of Manufacture Long operational life - virtually maintenance free» Easily accessible at all times» No thermal marking of walls» Redecoration made easier - no need to drain down and remove radiators The HeatProfile Water System is copper lined throughout, ensuring that the water never comes into contact with the aluminium, resulting in a very long and corrosion free life. The PushFit corner components consist of brass fittings and stainless steel flexible hose, a quality connection for a quality system. The Electric System has totally enclosed element chambers, which means that there is no thermal marking of walls. HeatProfile radiant skirting heating, is full central heating designed to meet the most exacting requirements and, as there are no radiators, they are space saving, energy efficient, clean - low allergen, visually attractive and maintenance free. The use of skirting heating, instead of radiators, ensures an even distribution of heat from low level throughout the whole room, providing a high level of comfort, with no cold spots or wasted energy. Available in water based or electric form, skirting heating is extremely popular with homeowners, as it leaves wall and floor space uncluttered allowing more freedom of choice with furniture placement. Redecoration is also made easier as there will be no need to drain down the system and remove radiators.» Appearance The skirting panels emulate and replace wooden skirting boards and are designed to enhance, or blend unobtrusively, with their surroundings and with any décor, whether ultra modern, period or traditional, new build or refurbishment. Continuous panel lengths to 6 metres means less joins and a more tailored appearance. The standard finish is polyester powder coat white, but other colours are available, or the panels can be over painted with radiator paint to match new, or existing, décor. Matching unheated panel is available for continuity of appearance. Skirting Heating - Top: in Grade11* Listed Windmill. 2nd row left: Follows curves. 2nd row right: in Country House. Bottom left: in Art Deco House on Grand Designs TV. Bottom right: with wooden moulding.» Energy Conservation Made of aluminium, the systems are very quick to respond to temperature demand and also quick to cool down and being recyclable, have major environmental advantages. Individual room temperature controls mean even greater energy conservation. The water based version has a much lower water content than comparable radiator systems, or under floor heating, which means far less water for the boiler to heat thereby ensuring major energy savings and lower fuel bills.» HeatProfile (radiant) Distributes heat from low level throughout the whole room promoting natural convection and even temperature conditions whilst avoiding air turbulence. 4 HEATPROFILE Tel: 01483 537000 W: www.heatprofile.co.uk E: sales@heatprofile.co.uk Tel: 01483 537000 W: www.heatprofile.co.uk E: sales@heatprofile.co.uk HEATPROFILE 5

HEATPROFILE RADIANT SKIRTING HEATING» Skirting / Perimeter / Threshold Heating» Economical, Versatile, Clean HeatProfile Skirting Heating distributes radiant warmth, throughout the whole room, with minimal air movement, providing a healthier environment in which to live, because less air movement means less allergen and pollutants in the air. We are proud to be a preferred supplier to the National Asthma Campaign. Each room is an independent system, allowing skirting heating to be mixed and matched with existing, or other, systems within a building.this means that refurbishment programmes can be undertaken as time, or budgets, dictate. Full height glazing, or patio doors, do not present a problem, because the skirting panels can be laid flat under the glazing, or doors, to eradicate condensation and downdraughts. There will, of course, be no need to purchase, prepare, paint and fix wooden skirting boards.» Installation HeatProfile systems are quick and easy to install and require no special site preparation. The unique mounting assembly, with vertical slide component for alignment during fixing, allows the skirting panels to be raised and lowered, even after installation, allowing carpet to be fitted underneath the panels, literally wall to wall. Being less invasive to the fabric of the building, skirting heating can be installed in new buildings, or refurbishments, as a last fix item or, room by room as time or budgets dictate. The water system requires far less carcass piping than a conventional radiator system and with the introduction of HeatProfile s own special brass and stainless steel PushFit system, installation times and costs are reduced even further. The water panels are easily trimmed on site to any length and the electric systems include a 200mm unheated section to allow for trimming on site.» Other Applications The skirting panels can be laid flat under full height glazing or patio doors, or at high level around atriums / rooflights etc, to serve as anti condensation / downdraught heaters. The panels can also be supplied as a stacked modular unit, one above the other, to any height (in increments of 140mm) for heating larger areas, such as very big rooms with high ceilings, offices, or other commercial buildings. HeatProfile SunRay Coving is full central heating and heats rooms in the same way as the sun s rays warm the earth. Its concave profile ensures that radiant warmth is evenly distributed, at a beneficial angle, throughout the room, providing predictable, uniform, performance, whilst being very energy efficient. Made of aluminium, HeatProfile Coving is very quick to warm up and cool down. Air movement is minimal, resulting in less dust mites and air pollutants, making SunRay Coving ideal for low allergen environments and a cleaner, healthier atmosphere in which to live. Individual room temperature control is standard for water based or electric systems, resulting in even greater energy efficiency.» Quality of Manufacture The HeatProfile Water System is copper lined throughout ensuring that the water never comes into contact with the aluminium, resulting in a very long and corrosion free life. The PushFit corner components consist of brass fittings and stainless steel flexible hose, a quality connection for a quality system. The Electric System has totally enclosed element chambers, which means that there is no thermal marking of walls.» Appearance SunRay Coving heating closely resembles, and replaces, a quality coving (cornice) feature that will enhance the appearance of any room. All floor and wall space is left totally uncluttered, allowing complete freedom of choice with furniture placement. Being unobtrusive and decorative, HeatProfile Coving gives no indication that it is a highly energy efficient heating system. The standard finish is polyester powder coat white, but other colours are available, or the panels can be over painted with radiator paint to match new, or existing, décor. Matching unheated panel is available for continuity of appearance.» Applications SunRay Coving offers full central heating and, as it is high up and out of reach, can be installed in buildings where there is a touch temperature sensitive environment at low level, such as Care Homes, Schools, Nurseries, Secure Units, Public Buildings etc, thereby eliminating the need for unsightly Low Surface Temperature (LST) appliances, or covers. It is also ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, cloakrooms, hallways, rooms with several doors, or any area where space at low level is limited, or inaccessible. Being installed at high level, Coving can be supplied with a much higher heat output where more heating is required.
