Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche Department of Poli cal Science Since its founding in 1996, the Department of Poli cal Science has a strong voca on for interna onal and interdisciplinary studies. Our aim is to provide students with concrete employment opportuni es, both in na onal and local public administra ons, in the business world, and par cularly in ins tu ons, organiza ons and companies opera ng abroad, primarily within the European Union. This perspec ve follows the tradi- on of diploma c studies, but with a renewed a en on to all those work environments that have affinity with interna onal rela ons. The interna onal dimension is, in fact, a very specific feature of our Department and our research; every academic year foreign scholars from all over the world visit our ins tu on to take part in mee ngs or conferences and to give lessons or seminars. Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche Interna onal Rela ons Service Interna onal Rela ons Service Poli cal Science Department The Interna onal Rela ons Service (SRI) supports students engaged in all Erasmus+ ac- vi es and in general students on mobility programs. The office also works as a reference point of analysis for the coopera on with European Universi es and other academic ins tu ons worldwide. The department is specifically focused on study abroad experiences and on strengthening the coopera on with European Ins tu ons,; it promotes student training, exchange in teaching and research. The main goals of our Service are: 1) Training and assis ng students interested in par cipa ng in study programs with European and Interna onal Universi es. 2) Exploring offers from ins tu ons and professors who want to take part in incoming and outgoing exchange projects (in Universi es or Cultural and Research Ins tutes), both in Europe and abroad. Main task of the Service is to provide support and give informa on about: ERASMUS PLUS PROGRAM: - The Erasmus + enhances the opportuni es for coopera on and mobility with Partner Countries, notably in the fields of higher educa on. Our Interna onal Office takes care of Student mobility (incoming and outgoing), administra ve and teaching mobility (incoming and outgoing) and European ECTS system; it is directed by the Department Coordinator: prof. Daniele Fioren no. Pagina 3

ERASMUS PLACEMENT: The Erasmus Placement Program allows both students and graduates to carry out a work placement (training, internship) within European countries and gives them the chance to acknowledge Academic recogni on of the work placement (e.g. ECTS, Diploma Supplement or Transcript of records). EXTRA EUROPEAN MOBILITY PROGRAM: The project offers scholarships for study and research ac vi es for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. We are also entering into new agreements with : - University of Chejabinsk (Russia) - Lomonosov Moscow State University ( Journalism and Global Studies) - Saint Petersburg State University (Faculty of History, Arts and Philosophy). Also, our goals as Interna onal Rela ons Service is to directly involve students - both incoming and outgoing - before and a er their mobility experiences. With this aim in mind we created two blogs: one official (Ufficio Erasmus Dipar mento di Scienze Poli che RomaTre), and one unofficial (Erasmus Point of View). The first one is conceived as a further mean for spreading in the most effec vely way official and bureaucra c informa on. The second one is a web space where students can share their experiences abroad, can give their sugges ons, or get in touch with other outgoing students. Besides these two web spaces, we value direct contact with students too, through organizing welcome mee ngs for both incoming and outgoing students. Pagina 4
