Editorial Senders and Receivers of Invoices Will Learn How To Move the E-Invoicing Focus from Cost Saving to Customer Service Excellence Process E-Invoices in a Legally and Tax Compliant Way Increase Automation Rates in Invoice Processing Explore the Latest Fintech Solutions and Strategies Dear Colleague, Invoicing, one of the most fundamental processes of business that drives the economy forward, is transforming rapidly these days. Across the world governments as well as enterprises are under enormous pressure to reduce costs for the billions of invoices they send and receive every year while at the same time increase financial visibility and efficiency. E-Invoicing is continuing its general expansion on a worldwide scale. Different regions around the world are introducing this paperless billing system according to their own schema. This makes it a necessity for companies to be familiar with the various E-Invoicing particularities and a need to know which countries are leading the process. At the same time E-Procurement gets a strong push forward by regulations of several public authorities to make it mandatory, e. g. in the EU with the directive 2014/24/EU. The evolution now directs us to full AP/AR process automation, Supply Chain Finance and towards a real-time economy. This said, the challenge of achieving a higher level of automation is not an easy one. Additionally, different national regulations and processes add complexity to the transformation. Taking these global developments into account, the industry demands a platform to exchange best practices, cross-industry case studies, new ideas and opinions on E-Invoicing as well as topics that go beyond. The Exchange Summit provides you with a unique set of in-depth information about recent developments and future trends. Participants will benefit from cutting edge keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive round tables with thought leaders, experts and practitioners from all over the globe. The Exchange Summit connects top organizations from all industries, and uncovers what each needs to know about compliance, automation, best practices for implementation, standards, supply chain finance and more. Don t fall behind in 2016. Join your peers in Barcelona and leave with a clearer understanding for the latest developments in E-Invoicing, E-Procurement and E-Payment! I look forward to meeting you in Barcelona. Many believe that the technology has the potential to disrupt almost every process in the financial services area and revolutionize supply chain transparency. Factoring is one financing instrument in the category of Supply Chain Finance, which can benefit from E-Invoicing and the exchange of invoice statuses in particular.
