In 1850 our founder Henry Christy on a trip to Constantinople discovered the loop piled fabric we all know today as terry towelling. He brought it back to his mill in Manchester, England and invented the method of mass producing it. The rest as they say is history
A brand with a difference Innovation We ve been pushing the boundaries since 1850, Queen Victoria thought so, Wimbledon think so and our customers do too. We are constantly looking for ways to keep our products on-trend and up to date: Digital printing on our bed linen to get the depth of pattern and texture that stand out when compared to cheaper brands. We use the best quality raw materials Supima, Egyptian and Turkish Cotton. We manufacture in the best location for the product whether its luxury bed Linen from Portugal and China, our unique Royal Turkish Towel from Turkey or drawing on the innovative linen techniques coming out of our head office in India. Our team of designers based in England create on trend beautiful designs that engage with customers.

Christy Bed Linen All lovingly designed in our studio in Manchester. We use the best quality materials and source the best manufacturing to produce the highest quality. We work with mills that use the most up to date technology and obviously our designs are great we really understand how to separate artwork to make it look fantastic in production! Christy ensures that all suppliers follow our strict quality protocols, they are fully certified both technically and ethically. In our jacquards we use high thread counts, along with luxurious yarn blends and clever weave structures to create relief and texture. Plus our colours are really carefully considered so that they look stunning! We use high thread count fabrics to create the best base cloth possible, selecting sateen or percale depending on the look we want to achieve. We re also working with skilled embroiderers who can use new technology and hand crafted techniques to make lovely, detailed embroidered bed linen on gorgeous quality fabrics.
The social landscape and a brand dialogue We re not shy and we love to talk about our product and ensure we give you all the tools you need to do the same. We can provide you with; Evocative lifestyle imagery that supports your promotional calendar. Our in house graphic-designer will create artwork specifically for use on social media with your logo placed prominently. You will have a direct contact in our digital marketing team to assist with your online activity.
