Course taken from Year 1 ECTS Leadership Challenge: Innovation ECTS Innovation Management (taken from ESC Semester 1 or 2) At the end of the course, students must: 1- Be familiar with and understand theoretical notions related to the Innovation Management: Nature and dynamics of innovation the issues related to ideas generation, choices of organization, structures and incentives and their importance in the innovation process the strategic issues of innovation and their importance in the exploitation process aiming to generate revenue. 2- Be able to identify the appropriate sources of ideas, organization and strategy, regarding the type of firm and activity and the mechanisms at work in the industry. 3- Be able to be critical with firms' choices in terms of innovation policy and provide recommendations. Master Course Dimensions of Innovation Course description will be made available asap Méthode anglais : The course will build students' innovation knowledge cumulatively with new topics and notions introduced at each session through compulsory readings. Compulsory readings will be completed with short exercises or case studies and questions intending to provide applications to theoretical notions and make sure that students have a proper understanding. Therefore, the course will rely on interactions between the lecturer and students. It requires students' active participation in in-class discussions. Students will also work in teams on the practical case of an innovative firm of their choice. They will be required to select an innovative firm and carry out a documentary research and potential interviews in order to characterize the type of innovation policy implemented by the selected firm. 1

Course taken from Year 1 ECTS Leadership Challenge: Sustainability ECTS Sustainable Development (taken from ESC Semester 1 or 2) The recent integration of the concept of sustainability in the economic and political development of States is raising a lot of controversy. This current situation is explained by the presentation of the history of sustainable development as well as the reasons and the way that it has been implemented on a national and international scale. The analysis of the geopolitical and technological impact will lead to a better understanding of its importance and the difficulties for it to come of age. The chosen pedagogy is participative. Students will carry out some documentary research on a number of topics. Each synthesis will lead to a debate with an external teacher specialized in some aspects of sustainable development.
