Subject objectives The course aims to focus the student in managing people at a senior level, considering the problems of labor relations and the current challenges in HR Management. This course will also help the students to achieve the objectives of the Business Organizations. 2. Competencies developed Basic B01 - Be able to acquire, understand and structure knowledge. 7 7. Lecturer/s Mr. Javier Loscos Arenas - [email protected] Contact hour: Monday after class Bachelor of Economics and Management (UPC). In 1994 he obtained the ICEX grant. After several years working as an Area Manager and living in different countries, created in Barcelona his first company dedicated to children s entertainment. In 2007 he started a new professional project as a partner of an international construction company specializing in developing and managing real estate projects in Uruguay and Argentina. Since 2012 is partner in an international consulting firm specialized in Strategic Consulting projects. He is currently Director of a multinational company dedicated to human resources His collaboration with TSI started in 2000 working as Professor of Human Resources and Personnel Policies for the HR Department. In 2011 he also began to collaborate at Berklee College of Boston, teaching and working on issues related to human factor 8. Observations * Information on the academic calendar, exam timetables, and room assignment will be posted on the virtual campus and on the faculty s web site once it is available. * Academic norms and regulations is an obligation for all the members of the academic community in the faculty. It is important that students understand the operation of the subject and especially the emphasis on the content of the presentations in the practical sessions. The idea is that students can experience firsthand and have a very personal course content. The syllabus is subject to change. 6
