September Launch Ceremony Dutch Fellowship on Leadership and Diversity Official handover of the Dutch Fellowship on Leadership and Diversity to Manfred Kets de Vries and the graduation ceremony of the IN-NED (INSEAD Non-Executive Directors) Academy program for the first 40 participants. The Dutch alumni fundraising campaign for Leadership and Diversity of 2008/2009 yielded an amount of 1 million Euro. The IAF will award this amount in the form of an endowed fund to the INSEAD Global Leadership Centre of Manfred Kets de Vries for a fellowship on Leadership and Diversity. Michiel will start explaining the challenging business environment for a print and digital publisher. Then he will introduce some key strategic challenges which will be input for an interactive discussion; first in several groups and afterwards in a plenary discussion. November IN-NED: Toezicht bij Woningbouwcorporaties Woningcorporaties bewegen zich in een complexe maatschappelijke omgeving. De opvattingen over wat een woningcorporaties 'moet' en 'mag' doen, is in beweging. Van corporaties wordt verwacht dat zij bijdragen aan het oplossen van problemen in dorpen en wijken. Tegelijk kijken politiek en samenleving kritisch naar de legitimiteit van projecten waarin corporaties investeren. Binnen die complexe context bepaalt de corporatie zijn eigen positie en maakt keuzen, rekening houdend met de stakeholders in het werkgebied. Rond zes thema's worden in parallel sessies ervaringen uitgewisseld. Dit onder voorzitterschap van branchekenners. This new IAA Endowment Fund is created with the long term objective to build up a substantial endowed capital fund whereby the donations will not be spent but will be endowed and only the revenue (~4% annually) will be used for scholarships. In order to pay the 50.000 Euro for this Co-Foundership, the NAA in the Netherlands and the IAF Netherlands are organizing a fundraising dinner to which all alumni are invited. The drinks and dinner are paid for by the Dutch NAA and hosts/sponsors, so all proceeds from the dinner will go completely to the Fund. Date: Tuesday, November 16 th Time: Evening Location: Rotterdam
