I refer to as your Life Time Money Making Skills. So you need to know how to create at least a simple website because this is going to serve you for the rest of your internet career and knowing how to create your own website is essential. I ll be honest with you. When I 1 st started and I was already making 4 figure income online every month. The last resource you need is what is known as Fast Targeted Traffic and you know they call traffic the life blood of the internet business and it is true. You need traffic no matter which model of the internet business that you have and when u want to get fast traffic and targeted traffic, the number one resource that I recommend is Pay Per Click traffic and I encourage you to visit http://www.payperclicksearchengines.com to find out more about Pay Per Click marketing and to get a list of the top Pay Per Click search engines online as well. Google Adwords is the number 1 Pay Per Click search engine but if you are a newbie, I would not encourage you to start with that because it s going to be very competitive, it s going to be more expensive and its not going to be a good learning ground for you. Instead, I would suggest that you try the other smaller Pay Per Click search engines like http://www.7search.com, http://adcenter.microsoft.com, http://www.miva.com for example. So let s continue The core lesson is to use an extremely clean and simple lead generation website and this lead generation website will allow you to build your own opt-in list fast, will allow you to follow up with your prospects for maximum affiliate sales and to allow you to create mindshare in your market. Mindshare is a term that you don t often hear about at least in affiliate marketing but creating that mindshare in your market is extremely important if you want to become a super affiliate. This is because people buy from people. People don t just buy products. They buy from someone they know, someone they trust, and someone who has good credibility and when you follow the method that I m going to teach you, you re going to be able to create mindshare credibility in your market. There are 7 insider secrets to creating high converting opt-in pages and this will help you with any part of your internet business that relates to capturing emails that relates to building list and these 7 secrets are universal to opt-in pages, so let s look at them. The 1 st one is to have a clean, simple and straight forward design and you will want to follow this principal. In fact, I ve found out that the cleaner and simpler you make your marketing message, your opt-in page, and the more results you re going to get. The secret here is to keep it very simple because when you make it clean and simple and straight forward, not only are you not confusing yourself but more importantly, you are not confusing your visitors. Let me tell you a secret. It s not really a secret but this boils down to human nature. People hate to make decisions. All of us as humans, we hate to make decisions; we hate to be given choices. In fact, if you ask anyone, the hardest thing for us to do is to actually think. So if you make that decision for your visitors, you re going to get the best conversion you can get because you are giving your visitors just 1 object/1 choice and you re not allowing them to be confused; you re not allowing them to think. In fact, what you re going to do is to make it very easy for the visitors. That s principal number 1; Secret number 1. Secret number 2 is you have to use an attention grabbing headline on your opt-in page and this is one of the most important features of the opt-in page. You should have a headline that grabs visitors by the throat when they 1 st land on your opt-in page and this headline has to have what is known as the Ultimate Benefit. What this means is that when the visitor reads your headline, they will be able to tell exactly what they re going to get, what s the main ultimate benefit they they re going to get and it is always what s in it for them, not what s in it for you. When you re marketing to people, you have to think what s in it for them. In fact, if you write sales copy, the more you that you have in your sales copy as compared to me, the more results you re going to get. Secret number 3 is to have very obvious Call to Action opt-in on your opt-in page. You want to tell your visitors exactly what to do and this relates to the principle of making it easy for them, this relates to the principle of not confusing them again. Tell your visitors exactly what you want them to do and if you want them to fill in their name and email address, then you got to tell them to do so. Next, the number 1 incentive you can provide for your visitors to opt-in is curiosity. Curiosity is a very powerful motivator that gets people to take action and in fact curiosity kills the cat and many people too. I meant that as a joke but you got to realize that we are all curious people and when we re told a secret and we re not told actual secret, we get frustrated. We want to find out exactly what s behind that secret so always use curiosity in your copy/opt-in pages and you re going to get people to take action. The 5 th secret is to have assurance of email privacy. When we are on the internet, we are often afraid of what our people will do to us when we give them our details. So you need to assure your visitors that their emails are safe with you. I m going to show you how to do that later. Secret number 6 is what is known as the Above The Fold principle for the opt-in form. What this means is when you want your opt-in form to be very obvious and straight up on your opt-in page so that your visitors will be able to see that opt-in form and what they have to do without scrolling down the opt-in page. This is known as Above The Fold meaning that opt-in form is above the fold on your webpage so that the visitor does not need to scroll down to take action. Do not put your opt-in form buried somewhere at the bottom. This is the worst mistake you can do. The last secret is to make full use of your website editor s formatting features and what I mean by this are stuffs like Bolding, Fonts, and Highlighting etc. In fact, you know on your opt-in pages, you do not need to use graphics, videos or audios if you do not want to. your website editor that will allow you to highlight important aspects of your opt-in page You re going to see a live example of how to do that later, very soon. So in the mean time, make sure that you see all this 7 secrets and apply them to your opt-in pages and when u do so, you re going to create extremely high converting opt-in pages that you can do so over and over again. I ve never revealed this before and I hope that you will apply them This is a case study of a simple website that I use to get 75% of opt-in conversion and this is a website at http://www.passiveincomesecrets.com and I m going to run you through this case study now. Let s go over to the web browser. This is the website and as you can see, this is an extremely clean and simple webpage but you ll be surprise that it gets huge opt-ins. It gets a huge number of visitors to take action and opt-in base on the 7 secrets that you heard about earlier. Let s see what is on this webpage and do a case study. First when you look at this webpage, you re going to see a sub headline over here. This is known as a sub headline IMPORTANT: For a very limited time, you will discover Let s go back to the page. We are back at the page. The sub headline is meant to capture the visitor s vision, it s meant to get them to read this webpage and you want to give them a call to action in the sub headline. Important: For a very limited time, you will discover this tells you a couple of things. First, this is important information and next this is not going to be around forever. It s only for a limited time. So you will need to have a sub headline your page as well. Next, this is known as the headline, this whole thing here is known as the headline. When you look at this headline: How To Easily Generate THOUSANDS Of Dollars Every Month With This Secret Passive Income System On Complete Autopilot! This contains what is known as the Ultimate Benefit and the visitor is able to tell straight away what they re going to get from taking action on this webpage, what s in it for them. They are going to discover how to make thousands of dollars every month, recurring income and they re going to do it easily and they re going to use a secret passive income system and notice that I ve not told them what that system is. I said this is a system and this is curiosity at work. The only way they re going to find out about this system is to opt-in onto my webpage and get into my list and they re going to learn how to do this on complete autopilot and these appeals to people because people like lazy things and we all like to make money automatically. So this is a good headline. Of cause it s not going to be the best headline and in fact I can still increase the conversion on this webpage by tweaking and testing later on but for now, this will do. So this is a good headline that you want to use that combines the different elements of the opt-in pages which I ve taught you earlier. Next, you re going to see here Enter Your Name and Email Below Now To Learn About This Passive Income System While It s Still Available: and this tells them a couple of things. First, this is known as the Call to Action, remember except that you need to have a very obvious Call to Action and you need to tell your visitors exactly what to do. Enter Your Name and Email Below Now and when they do so, they re going to learn about the Passive Income System which is secret to them but when they opt-in, they re going to learn about this system and they had better do it fast because there is a time limit to this. Notice that I m repeating what I said earlier in the sub headline about a very limited time. They have to do this while it s still available so it s important to have a strong call to action that tells your visitors exactly what to do and what I have below here is something that s very cheeky. You will also automatically receive tons of FREE passive income information, tips and resources available for a limited time only. The only reason why I placed this is because you may have heard that you need to give a free bonus; a bribe for people to opt-in where it can help you in your conversion as well. But I m a lazy guy. I do not want to create a bonus. I do not want to create a report to give to people. So I slapped this up quickly and in fact what you re going to receive in terms of the free information is actually the emails that you re going to receive from me. But I converted that email into information. In this information, you re going to get it free. That s true, but I converted it into a bonus that you re going to get. So this replaces that free report of that one that I am supposed to give them and add on increase benefit to the visitor. Next I have something very important to show you. This is the optin form. You create this with the autoresponder but you notice about this opt-in form are the first Name, The Email Address. What I did is I highlight the first name and email address and I used the webpage editor formatting features which I told you about earlier and just by highlighting the name and email address, I ve been able to increase the conversion on this webpage easily. You will not see this being done else where at this time. I can t guarantee you it will not happen again later as more and more people apply this method. That s why using simple formatting features and by highlighting important features of your webpage that drive them to take action, you will increase your conversion. So to highlight the first name and email address tells them that these two things are important and by human nature, we tend to complete the action so when we look at the first name and email address being highlighted, they will know naturally that they need to fill in their name and email address and when you click here, you re going to get a new subscriber quickly and very easily. What you re going to see here is known as the opt-in button and for the opt-in button, try to use Call to Action and Benefit laden statements as well. Don t say something like Please Give Me Your Email Address Now or Click Here To Subscribe which is boring. Use more exciting words like Click Here Now For Instant Access. This completes the action that they need to take and they will click here because they want to get instant access to discover the system. So this is a very simple method but if you apply it, you re going to see an increase number of subscribers to your opt-in list. Next, at the bottom, right here is what is known as the email policy. It s a very straight forward statement. Please use an email address you check regularly so you can receive all information. Basically, I m telling them to give me their real email address to satisfy their curiosity and your details will be strictly protected and safe. It will never be sold or shared and this tells them that their email addresses are safe with me if they opt in and you need to tell people that. You just make it very simple and tell people that the presence of this email policy will also increase your conversion. The only graphic besides my signature that s you see on this opt-in page is right here; the Spam Cop graphic. This also increases the opt-in this little graphic and you know sometimes images and pictures tell a thousands words and you know, you can use this effectively. That s a very simple graphic that tells them that they re not going to get spammed. What I have here, right over here is I ll See You On The Inside and this again tells them there is something behind this webpage that they need to find out and this adds to the conversion as well and of cause, I sign of with my signature over here. You can do without this part; the signature but I want to do this because I want to create an initial mindshare in the market. I m going to show you some links below here. You can t really see these links now but I m going to click them to let you see. First, I have what is known as the Legal Disclaimer and this is a webpage. This is a standard legal disclaimer and notice that you can have on your website tells people what the disclaimers have that you apply on the website. So basically, you have a legal disclaimer page and this is not really for people to see but it s meant for the search engine spiders to read and what you have when you apply a webpage like this remember I was telling you about the Google Slap. If you add in links like this, just a couple of pages to your webpage or if you re going to make your webpage appear to have more content than just a single 1 page opt-in mechanism and Google doesn t like single opt-in pages. So you need to add addition pages. You can add in a legal disclaimer The next one that you re going to add in is a Privacy Notice. I m going to open up the webpage here. This is the PassiveIncomeSecrets.com privacy notice policy and again it s a standard policy statement that tells them what I m going to do with their email address and tell them that email address is safe with me and again this add bulk to your content/webpage for the search engine spiders. I m not sure if people are going to going to click here and read. The next link that is very important that you can see over here Passive Income Resources. This is amazing. Click here. Basically, what this does is it s going to add hundreds thousands and millions of pages of content to your single opt-in page automatically and when Google s spiders come to your opt-in page, they re going get an impression that your opt-in page is a huge portal with millions of pages of content. So this is the link and basically what you do is very simple. You hyperlink these to Google search results by itself. So what you do is you to Google.com, you type in your main keyword in Google and you should put it in quotation then you re going to get direct specific results. When you type in your keyword; ok I m going to do this: type Passive Income. You do a search. What this is going to do for you it is going to give you all the search pages/ all the index pages in Google for your keyword. As you can tell over here, you have more than 1.4 million results for Passive Income for this term; more than 1.47 million pages for this term and all these pages can be linked to your website and what you do is just hyperlink this enter search result URL onto your webpage here, creating a resource link and hyperlink here. So when Google s spider come to your website, they re going to read all these pages, the privacy policy, the disclaimer and the resource links that you have linked to Google s results for the keyword and that you have and your opt-in page remember, it s a simple opt-in page, its going to appear to contain tons of content. It s going to appear to contain millions pages of contents to the spiders. This is one method which I found to be able to overcome the Google slap and so far I ve got very good results with using this system. Let s look at what happens behind this opt-in page and you know this is the opt-in page that gets high conversion for me and I m sure when you apply it, you re going to get great conversion as well. So what happens when someone opts in? They re going to get into a Thank You page which I ve created. This is a Thank You page and there are a couple of things on this Thank You page. First, I have a headline on this Thank You page; a simple headline that says Thank you. Read on for full details about this secret passive income system that you can use now. So again, a couple of things I want to point out to you. I urge them, I thank them for subscribing. I urge them to read on. You re going to tell people to read on to discover more and they can use this income system now. Take action now. So on this webpage, what s important as well is I have my name here. Now they re going to see my name again and this is going to increase the responsiveness of a subscriber because they re going to know me more. It s going to increase my mind share and I address them as a Valued Subscriber and I ve also have my photo here. This helps a lot in building up subscriber responsiveness. It s one thing to get a subscriber and another thing to get a responsive subscriber that acts on your offer. So having your photo and your name will instantly build rapport with your subscriber and they re going to know you and so when they re going to receive emails from you, they re going to respond to you because they know your name and they ve seen your face and they ve seen your picture and they know that it s a real person writing to them. Other thing that I ve added on to this simple Thank You page is again I tell them my name. My name is Ewen and I thank them again for opting in to receive more information. What I have over here immediately is the Affiliate Link. I hyperlink this to the affiliate program that I m promoting so that I get people to click on it to go to the affiliate program that I m promoting. I tell them little story. I tell them that I ve been searching for a proven method just like them and again I make sure that I hyperlink this to my affiliate link and you notice that I have a couple of these links. What you re going to do is to have multiple exposure of your affiliate link; as many exposure as you can as that you know sometimes when the visitor don t click here, they may click here. So you want to give them multiple exposures of your single affiliate link. I m not talking about multiple exposures of different affiliate links but multiple exposure of the same affiliate link. This is known as the Multiple Exposure affiliate method. When you make it easy for people and you make it obvious for people again, and you make it multiple times where people can take action, then you re going to get more results. The more times you get people to click on your affiliate link, the more time that you re going to allow the merchant to sell for you. Remember, when we are an affiliate marketer, we want to pre-sell. We don t really sell. I m not going to put a whole sales copy of the merchant s page here. That s the merchant s job. All I m going to do is that I m going to recommend and pre-sell them and to build relationship and responsiveness with my lead and subscribers. What I do here on the thank you page too which you can, which your own thank you page will allow you to do is to give them a special bonus with time limit. I give them a special bonus and you know in the next video case study, you re going to see how you can create affiliate bonus easily. So again, I tell them to click on the link to get and to send me an email to claim the bonus and I basically conclude this opt-in thank you page with Thanks and I look forward to hearing good news of your success. This tells them in advance that they re going to be successful. It s a little tricky and it s not telling any lies. Basically, you will also tell them that they re going to receive more helpful passive income information. Just replace the word Passive Income your own market keywords. It could be More Helpful Golf Training Information and Tips. So this relates back to the free bonus of information that you re going to get. What you re doing here is to remind them to look out and read your emails and then sign off with your name again so that you enhance that mindshare that you have. When people opt-in from your opt-in page, what happens is your autoresponder is going to pre-sell to them. It s going to pre-sell to them with a series of follow up messages that drive them and recommend them to click and check out that affiliate link that you have in your autoresponder series. This is covered in great detail in the blue print.
