1. ASSEMBLY The red arrows in the drawings represent the direction of the assembly and the blue, orange and green arrows represent connections with screws/nuts, lag screws and rivets. 1.1 Module assembly With the frame on a flat surface, mate the back plate and fasten it with lag screws. (for details, see next page). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 1
The flap of the back plate must be under the frame (detail in the drawing). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 2
The first and the last module must have either start- or end cover. The covers are mounted in opposite sides in each row of modules. The two lateral flaps of the cover must be mounted ON the back plate while the back flap must finish UNDER the back plate (see picture). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 3
Once the cover is in the right position, the assembly is fixed with rivets. The plate that fixes the back sheet of two consecutive modules (belt) must be installed before mounting the modules on the supports. Fix the belt and the back sheet with rivets. * DO NOT install the belt in the LAST MODULE SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 4
* DO NOT install in the LAST MODULE SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 5
2. INSTALLATION 2.0 Create a base It is important to create a perfectly straight base, where the stands can be fixed. If the stands do not form a perfect line, it may create problems, when installing the modules and the stability of the whole system could be compromised. A good recommendation for a straight base is to mark and level the surface (wall, ground or roof), before starting the installation. In all configurations each row has 1 pcs. of Base module and up to 9 pcs. of Add-on modules. In larger installations (>10 modules) add the necessary additional rows. SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 6

2.3.1 Stands SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 21
2.3.2 Base module In this step, 12 screws are used. The first stand (as well as the last one) must be in-line with the frame (lower circles). The other stands must be placed in the middle (upper circles) so half of the stand is supporting this module and the other half is free (and it will be used by the next module). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 22

2.3.3 Add-on module Before connecting the modules together make certain that the front space between the modules is as small as possible (2-4mm). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 24
2.3.4 Connection between modules SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 25
2.3.5 Install the last module After installing the last module the structure of the whole system must be adjusted. The modules must form a straight line and the stands must be vertical. To have this result the stands can be gently slided sideways on the base, until the result is optimum. After the adjustment, the modules connection is secured with 2 lag screws and the stands must be properly connected to the base. *Repeat this operation 2 times per connection SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 26

2.4.1 Stands SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 28
2.4.2 Base module *The distance between the stands could vary +-50mm in order to fix the support in a proper place. In this step, 12 screws are used. The first stand (as well as the last one) must be in-line with the frame (lower circles). The other stands must be placed in the middle (upper circles) so half of the stand is supporting this module and the other half is free (and it will be used by the next module). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 29
2.4.3 Install the add-on module *The distance between the stands could vary +-50mm in order to fix the support in a proper place. But if the distance have been modified (+-50mm) it should be rectified in the next support. ** The distance between the two supports of the LAST MODULE should be 1860mm. 2.4.4 Connection between modules Once the two modules are in the right position, two lag screws are use in each L profile (4 in total for each connection). SolarVenti www.solarventi.dk 31
