Emergency Out of Gas System Check - $85.00 and Emergency Delivery Fee - $125.00. **Other fees may apply. Payments for services (to include propane deliveries, service calls, installation charges, tank lease, etc.) are due upon receipt of invoice. Payment Options: Cash. Credit Card payments can be made using the following cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. A signed authorization form allows NORTHERN to automatically charge your credit card at time of service, delivery or applicable charges. This option automatically sends an email for charges applied. ACH drafts can also be made with a signed authorization form (Allowing for automatic payment from your bank account). Phone Payments may also be called into our office. Payments are also accepted at International Bank and Centinel Bank of branch locations. NSF Checks: A $25.00 service charge will be applied for Non Sufficient Fund Checks. Keep Full: Account is placed on a monthly route, insuring the deliveryman monitors tank level keeping the tank full. Will Call: A payment must be made PRIOR to dispatching the delivery. Customer is responsible for monitoring tank level and we encourage our customers to call our office when the gauge reads 30%. 4 working days are required prior to delivery. Additional cost will be incurred should your tank be out of gas (no pressure). If you are out of gas, our service technicians must conduct a system check and relight appliances so the customer must be home at the time of service. Rental Account: If you are renting your residence, we require $125.00 deposit at the time your account is opened. This deposit is refundable at the time of final billing if the account is in good standing. As a renter, a payment must be made prior to delivery. Since payment must be made prior to delivery please set up an ACH/Credit Card account with our office. Please complete attached ACH Credit Card form. CASH payments may also be made at our offices. Meter Account: Meters are read monthly on the 25th. Usage based on meter reading includes a $6.50 monthly meter fee. Budget Billing Options: Requires the account to begin with a zero balance. Equal monthly payments are based on your annual propane usage. LINE-PRO: Total protection from the expense of damaged yard lines. Requires a current on file SYSTEM CHECK. Annual fee of $36.00 plus tax. Must be notified in writing for plan cancellation. Tank Lease Fee: A $60.00 annual rental fee billed for a leased propane tank. Tank size based on location and usage. Access to Property: NORTHERN reserves the right to refuse propane deliveries if we believe we cannot safely make delivery due to unsafe road conditions including ice and snow. The Customer is responsible for clearing the road or path to the tank to assure safe access. ALL Debris including: ice, snow, construction garbage, tree branches, etc. should be cleared. The 20 lb. cylinder is typically used for a BBQ grill or an outdoor patio heater. The residential tank sizes that have been set by NORTHERN are 120 gallon; 250 gallon; 500 gallon and 1000 gallon tanks. When leasing a tank from NORTHERN, our Service Technicians will assist in determining the tank size and the tank set location to meet your needs. NORTHERN strongly recommends that you choose the NORTHERN tank lease and maintenance option for your protection and safety. Since propane tanks are designed to hold liquid propane under pressure, the tank s regulator, valves, fittings and seals need consistent monitoring. By leasing a NORTHERN tank, your tank is maintenance free and will be inspected by a trained technician at each delivery. Any repairs or replacement issues on the NORTHERN tank are taken care of FREE of CHARGE. And you gain the peace of mind that goes with knowing your tank is in top working condition. GAS Safety Check (System Check) This important safety inspection is performed by a NORTHERN Service Technician in approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Your system is tested for leaks and checked to ensure it meets all applicable Safety standards. This preventive maintenance safety check involves the tank, piping, regulators, gauges, connectors, valves, vents, thermostats, pilots, burners, and appliance controls. When completed, you can be assured that your propane system is safe and in good working condition. You, as the homeowner, will be asked to sign the completed System Check Form; a copy of this form will be retained in your customer file. Pre-Season Heating Special Propane appliances should only be repaired and serviced by State of New Mexico LP Certified technicians. NORTHERN services and repairs what it sells, and when we make that first delivery to your home, we will ask to set you up on the annual Pre-Season Heating program. We take pride in educating our customers on the fact that propane is a dependable, clean and 99% efficient fuel. We know how important regular system check-ups are for the heating system of a home. We offer the annual Pre-Season Heating check-up special which encourages our customers to plan ahead for the winter. NORTHERN Service Technicians will perform a comprehensive inspection of our customer s propane heating system, adjust and clean the burners and inspect the safety controls, venting and heat exchanger. This annual system maintenance special is recommended to keep you heating system running efficiently and to help you save money! Visit our NORTHERN website - www. BUDGET BILLING Budget Billing allows residential customers to pay the same amount on their propane bill each month, which helps alleviate the effects of fluctuating energy prices by spreading costs evenly throughout the year. This monthly amount equals an average of the prior year s billing history and is rounded to the next dollar. BUDGET BILLING - THE NORTHERN DIFFERENCE Worry Free -- Automatic KEEP FULL deliveries: You DO NOT have to call us when you think you need propane - We keep your tank full No Finance Charges, FREE Enrollment There is NO COST to enroll and as long as your account is CURRENT, there are no finance charges. Automatic renewal each year - beginning June 1. The new monthly Budget Billing payment amount may be adjusted at this time due to changes in pricing and/or consumption in the prior twelve month period. Two Requirements must be met to be eligible for BUDGET BILLING: Monthly payments must be made by using one of the following Credit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express OR Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) provides the customer another option to make monthly payments from their account. Your existing account must have a ZERO balance PRIOR to the start of the Budget Billing plan and the account must be a KEEP FULL account. The Budget Billing plan is based on Eleven (11) Equal Monthly Payments, which are calculated by averaging the prior years consumption. If you are a new customer, an estimated amount will be determined based on the information available at the premise or by referencing your prior usage. This annual amount will be divided into Eleven (11) Equal Monthly Payments, the twelfth month will be the reconciliation month. The annual reconciliation for Budget Billing accounts will take place in May. At this time, the customer s account will receive any credit owed OR the customer s credit card/ bank account (EFT) will be charged with the balance due amount. Also, during the month of May, the customer s prior year usage will be calculated into the new monthly amount for Budget Billing for the new year.
