Qualified Secondary School Certificates for Transfer Admitted applicants who achieve a minimum grade equivalent to B in their IB Higher Level, GCE A-Level, the Lebanese Baccalaureate, the French Baccalaureate, the Spanish Baccalaureate, the German Abitur or the American Advanced Placement tests may be awarded course credits for freshman-level courses. Admitted applicants seeking transfer credits and who have met the above condition must submit a copy of their original secondary school certificate(s) attested by the UAE Ministry of Education or the appropriate authority, along with a copy of the AUS Letter of Admission, to the Office of the Registrar, Dena Bushnaq, room MG10. For courses not listed in the table below where grades equivalent to B or higher were achieved, a course syllabus must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar for consideration of transferability. Admitted applicants must submit their documents prior to the beginning of their first year to have them evaluated toward credit transfer. Applicants granted credits in MTH, PHY or WRI are exempted from the Placement Test in corresponding courses. No transfer of credits will be awarded after the completion of the first year at AUS.
