Befe getting started Charging battery 1. Plug in MiniDrone (photos C and D): When using a charger with a minimum power rating of 2.4 A, charging time is approximately 25 minutes. When charging through a computer using USB cable, charging time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Switching on MiniDrone Insert battery into slot press On/Off button underneath MiniDrone. n place your MiniDrone on a flat surface so it can complete its initialisation phase. eyes of MiniDrone will turn red, amber, and n green. Downloading app Log into App SteTM Google PlayTM and download free FreeFlight3 app. Connecting a smartphone Since MiniDrone uses nmal list of Bluetooth Bluetooth devices Low Energy, it will not be displayed in shown on your phone. You will only be able to see it and connect to it via FreeFlight3 app. 1. Activate Bluetooth function on your smartphone. 2. Launch FreeFlight3 app. 3. to bring up list of MiniDrones located near your smartphone. > MiniDrone will connect to your smartphone automatically. Flying 1. Launch FreeFlight3 app. > main screen will appear. Free Flight to control MiniDrone in Nmal mode. Film My Drone to control MiniDrone in Controller mode. Controller mode lets you 2. film your MiniDrone with your smartphone while you are flying it. Battery icon shows battery level f your MiniDrone. A fully charged battery lasts f around 7 minutes when hulls are attached to MiniDrone, and around 9 minutes if hulls aren't used. indicat turns red when battery level is low. When battery level is too low, bring MiniDrone back towards you land it. Photos button to take a photo using MiniDrone vertical camera. photo will be saved in MiniDrone memy. You can save hundreds of photos in MiniDrone internal memy. When memy is full, a warning message will appear telling you it is no longer possible to take photos. Retrieving deleting photos To retrieve delete photos, your smartphone must be connected to MiniDrone. 1. Bring up context menu. To do this: If control screen is open, press If main screen is open, press 2. n.. Internal Memy. > list of sted photos in MiniDrone memy will appear. 3. Select one me files. 4. > Delete Transfer. files will be transferred to FreeFlight3 gallery and into your smartphone's memy. You can also retrieve delete m by connecting MiniDrone to your computer using USB cable. To do this, battery f MiniDrone must be installed. Once connected, MiniDrone will show up as a USB drive on your computer. You can n copy files using your computer. Videos You can film your MiniDrone using your smartphone while you are flying it. When MiniDrone is about to go past this limit, it will automatically go back down to selected height. Max Tilt Max Tilt option allows you to choose maximum tilt angle MiniDrone can make while it is moving. higher this value is, larger pitch of MiniDrone. lower this value is, smaller pitch of MiniDrone. This setting affects acceleration. With a large pitch, MiniDrone will gain speed quicker and will be me sensitive to commands. Left-handed mode Invert Controls option allows you to invert controls on your smartphone. Control Settings Expert, Nmal and Controller options let you choose control mode you want. Automatic Recding Auto Rec option is available in Controller mode automatically trigger video recding as soon as you press only. Max Vertical Speed Max Vertical Speed option allows you to set downward speed of MiniDrone when you press maximum upward and buttons. Settings 13

Max Rotation Speed Max Rotation Speed option allows you to set maximum rotation speed f MiniDrone when you press buttons. Sht-Circuit Sht-Circuit option allows you to cut mots in event of prolonged impact to propellers on your MiniDrone. This option is deactivated by default, but is useful if you are a beginner pilot. Charge Settings Charge Settings screen shows you last type of charging used and battery level of your MiniDrone. Netwk Name Netwk Name option allows you to edit Bluetooth name of how MiniDrone will be seen by your smartphone in FreeFlight3 app. name change will take effect once MiniDrone has been restarted. MiniDrone netwk name can only contain numbers, letters and undersces _ (" "). It must not be longer than 32 characters. Drone Academy An internet connection is necessary to use Drone Academy. To launch Drone Academy: FreeFlight3 Drone Academy. 1. Launch 2. application. A profile is necessary to access Drone Academy. Updates Updates to check if any software updates are available f MiniDrone. re are two ways to update your MiniDrone: Via USB by downloading update file from our website. This method requires a computer. Check that MiniDrone battery is installed and fully charged befe carrying out updates via USB link.. Via FreeFlight3 app by pressing Updates. Updates 17

General Infmation Precautions f use and maintenance MiniDrone is not suitable f children under 14 years of age. MiniDrone is a model aircraft designed f recreational and leisure purposes. pilot must always maintain direct visual contact with MiniDrone and monit its trajecty. MiniDrone must be used in accdance with civil aviation rules in your country. You should only use it in open spaces so you are always able to ensure safety of person, animals and property. re are some public places (stations, airpts etc.) and roads where you may not be permitted to use your MiniDrone. To use your MiniDrone indos, use shields to protect MiniDrone in case it collides with an object. In flight, propellers of MiniDrone can cause injury to people and property. Don t touch completely MiniDrone stopped befe while it s handling flying! Wait until MiniDrone. Only propellers use have accessies specified by manufacturer.
