A personal interview will follow. It generally takes place on the day of the entrance exam. For students applying from abroad a Skype or phone interview may be scheduled. Admission Prerequisites The primary prerequisite for registration at Touro College Berlin is a school leaving certificate sufficient for entry to higher level study such as: Abitur High School Diploma Bagrut A-Levels and AS-Level International Baccalaureate (IB) Applicants holding national school leaving certificates not listed above may be requested to have their certificates evaluated by World Education Services (WES). Application Documents In order to apply at Touro College Berlin prospective students are required to turn in the following documents: Completed and signed application form Copy of school leaving certificate, including a transcript showing final grades (all foreign documents must be accompanied by a certified English translation) WES certification of school leaving documents, if applicable Curriculum Vitae Academic letter of reference Bank guarantee of solvency Tuition and Administrative Fee A flat tuition fee of 4,200. is charged for 4-5 courses for the first semester of study. From the second semester onwards, tuition fees depend on the number of credit points: Part-time students taking 1 3 courses* (up to 11 credits): 350. per credit Full-time students taking 4-6 courses (12-20 credits): 280. per credit In the first semester students generally take a maximum of five courses (15-17 credits). In order to take 6 courses (18-20 credits) in subsequent semesters students need to have an American Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0. In addition, Touro College Berlin charges a non- refundable administrative fee of 100. plus 178. for a discounted student public transportation ticket, payable at the beginning of each semester (valid for 6 months). Once the applicant has been approved a deposit of 2,100. has to be paid. The deposit will be deducted from the total payment for the first semester. Tuition and administrative fees are subject to change. *A course can hold 3 or 4 credits.
