Invitation / Notice of race Invitation for The Pantaenius Bohusrace 2014 Race: Pantaenius Bohusrace, Shorthanded sailing. Distance race for keelboats or similar and with only two crewmen. The Pantaenius Bohusrace is sailed after SRS according to SRS 2015, Swedish Sail Association, www.svensksegling.se (Handicap rules) according to the table with a standard SRS ratio of 1.00 or higher. SRS-handicap system as well as Sailracing rules 2013-2016. During the time between 22: 30 and 03: 30 only applies to international regulations for preventing collisions at sea and the Swedish Maritime traffic regulations. 1.2 At competitions with disability- and respite rules to be contestants follow SSF's licensing rules for
advertising. 1.3 All yachts shall in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20.3 (d) conduct the contest the sponsor's advertising in the form of the flag and a number of other decals. For boats with fragile hull can waivers granted by the race Committee. 1.4 Recommended security level is in accordance with the "ISAF Offshore Special Regulations 2010/2011, Category 4 Monohulls/Multihulls. However, it is a minimum requirement to meet the requirements of the safety regulation on www.bohusracet.se 1.5 If deduction of spinnaker would be asked for, this shall be notified not later than 7 days before the start. This will be notified through an e-mail to kappseglingar@outlook.com 1.6 Rule 52, manual power, is not on this sailing. 1.7 Electronic equipment for navigation and communication may be used even if a class boats classrules prohibit such use. 1.8 Max two crewmen on board. 1.9
A few boats can eventually come sail with an additional media person on board. He must not in any way help with the performance of the boat or crew members serve in any way during the actual competition. 2. Conditions for participation 2.1 Any person on board who is responsible should be a member of a club that is connected to their national authority. 2.2. A participating boat shall have at least a Liability insurance. 2.3 Contestants participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See Racing rules nr 4. The organizing authority accepts no liability for property or personal injury which someone sustained in conjunction with or before, during or after the race. 2.4 Participating boat must be decked and equipped for coastal ocean sailing. 2.5 Minimum recommended safety equipment in accordance with www.bohusracet.se shall be provided on board. 2.6 Transponder for the Tracking system must be on board and be loaded all the race. 3. Registration 3.1
Notification must be made on http://www.seilmagasinet.no/regatta?regatta=1738 by 2014-06-15. The entry fee is 700 SKR. If registration takes place before 2015-03-31 the fee is discounted to 700 SEK. Late registration fee is 900 SEK latest 1 week before the race. For late registration boat i sailing with the highest current SRS (Swedish handicap) number either in the table or the measurement certificate. 3.2 Maximum number of participants is 200 boats. Registration and measurement control 4.1 Registration should be made at the competition Office in Uddevalla (Bohusläns Museum). Open times see under point 6 4.2 Regatta Centre is inside the Uddevalla at Bohuslän museum. 4.3 The sailing is carried out in accordance with the SRS-handicap system. If the boat deviates from the rules for a standard boat or a class boat, this boat must present a copy of a valid Swedish SRS measurement certificate for the organizers. 5. Sailing regulations 5.1 The race instructions are disclosed in connection with the registration process and will be published on www.bohusracet.se before the race. 6. Prizes/Awards ceremony 9.1 The plan is to hold the price ceremony on Sunday at 10: 00 in Smögen. 9.2 The Trophy to overall victory, and the price for every 5 starts in each starting group. 9.3 Price to best "one-design".
