In July 2015, we set course to the most fascinating cities of the Baltic Sea for the fifth time! Stockholm will be our point of departure. Stockholm is built on 14 islands; this beautiful archipelago with its many canals and waterways is aptly named "the Venice of the North".. Enjoy the scenic cruise across the Baltic Sea to Helsinki, Finland's bustling capital and take in the fabulous sights of the city called the "Daughter of the Baltic". Discover for yourself the appeal and lure of the Finnish Tango, which has made it the national dance of Finland since 1913. Tango Argentino meets Finnish Tango and as with last year, we plan a Milonga with the friendly Tango community of Helsinki. No doubt, the highlight of our tango cruise will be Saint Petersburg. We will spend two full days in this beautiful city, which is a shining symbol of Russian culture. Whether it s a stroll along the city's romantic bridges or a visit to the masterpieces in the Hermitage Museum. Saint Petersburg can satisfy even the most demanding visitor. As our ship will stay overnight in port, we will use this opportunity to visit a Russian Milonga. Nasdrovje and Viva el Tango! Our next destination is Tallinn with its medieval charm and Riga with its beautiful restored old town and famous Art Deco buildings. There are plenty of beautiful settings in both cities and you will find a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Meet the tango dancers of Riga and Tallinn during a spontaneous Milonga and create an unforgettable memory. As we will be travelling in July, we can take advantage of the white nights : longer days, late sunsets and pleasant temperatures. This will make for wonderful tango summer nights, especially in Saint Petersburg. Spend a relaxing vacation in the High North onboard the Serenade of the Seas. Tango This cruise offers a fantastic itinerary, so we put the main focus on the Milongas ashore. Dancing Tango and meeting Tango friends from all over the world makes this a very unique experience. We organize our Milongas mainly "ashore" together with the local Tango communities in Tallinn, Helsinki and Riga during the day. In Saint Peterburg we will go to a Russian Milonga at night as we stay overnight. In 2014, these Milongas were an unforgettable experience for our group because we were able to meet with dancers from the different cities, enjoy their hospitality and make new friendships. Tango cruising is all about connecting people Depending of the availability of dance floors on board, there will be some Milongas. If they take place, they will be held before dinner.
