COURSE SCOPE This extensive 5 day course is designed to push the undercover officer to their limits! The course content focuses on the specialized knowledge and skills needed as an undercover officer. Students at registration will assume their undercover identity, and remain in role throughout the entire training evolution(s). UC/CI Rescue/Take Downs Starting a Task Force Courtroom Testimony for Undercover s Advanced Scenario Role Playing This course combines classroom, role play and real life scenarios for a complete learning experience for the undercover officer This is an Advanced Undercover Class. Classes will be held during the day, Role play scenarios will be conducted after classroom training. This is NOT a lecture only course. It is hands on, Real Life practical training.
INSTRUCTORS Jim Dillman Jim s career spans over 35 years. He is a former intelligence operative with a Southwest Florida Sheriff s Office. Jim is currently assigned to the Domestic Security Division. Jim has been a member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation s Southwest Florida Violent Crime Task Force since its inception in 2009, focusing on violent gang cases, long term Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force investigations (OCDETF) and Title III Electronic Intercepts of Major Drug Trafficking involving International gangs, recruiting and running sources as well as investigating Bank Robberies, Hobbs Act violations, and Logical Fugitive investigations. Jim is Past President of the Florida Intelligence Unit (FIU) and is a United States Army Military Police Corps Veteran, and a retired Operations Lieutenant from a Western Pa. Police Department. Jim has worked in numerous undercover capacities both as UC and as case agent over the course of his career, as well as being a surveillance specialist. Jim has done numerous interviews for local and national media outlets, and also had a starring role on the TV reality show "Outlaw Country" which aired on the WGN America Network. John Pearce Sgt John Pearce s career spans over 25 years with a large Central Florida Sheriff Office. During this time he has taught at the police academy, been part of his agencies training, and was a part of his agencies FTO training program for many years. For the past 8 years, John has worked in some capacity addressing the gang problems within his county. He has been successful in recruiting sources within several different gangs and used the information to assist other investigative units within his agency. John has supervised a highly aggressive Robbery Unit which utilizes extensive covert and overt surveillance techniques with state of the art electronic surveillance tools, and the deployment of undercover officers to locate and arrest subjects responsible for various types of crimes. At this point in his career, John supervises the Gang Enforcement unit, which is attached to their Intelligence Unit and can share how they are able to achieve results by intelligence gathering, surveillance techniques, UC operations, source recruitment and management. Edward Fingers Jauch Edward "Fingers" Jauch started his law enforcement career working inside the Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, IL in 1988. Jauch became a police officer in 1990 and worked patrol assignments on all shifts. "Fingers" elevated to an investigator working various types of criminal cases from check fraud to homicides. In 2001 he was assigned to the Will County (Illinois) Violent Crimes Task Force being deputized federally by the FBI and U.S. Marshals. Jauch was an undercover agent assigned to a federal case tasked to infiltrating the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. Jauch received numerous awards for his undercover work from the Illinois State Police as well as from the FBI. Fingers, was seen on the History Channel Network in the series Gangland (Biker Wars episode) and also had a starring role on the TV reality show "Outlaw Country" which aired on the WGN America Network. Fingers has instructed throughout North America, including law enforcement personnel from Chicago PD, DEA, FBI, Las Vegas Metro, Illinois State Police, Dallas PD, Texas DPS, California Dept. of Justice and many more. Fingers currently is an Investigator with LaSalle County State's Attorney Office and still a deputized FBI task force officer with Chicago's Human Intelligence unit.
INSTRUCTORS CONTINUED: Adam Dillman Adam is an Intermediate Gang Specialist for a SW Florida Sheriff s Office, and has been employed for over ten years. Adam specializes in gang identification and documentation as well as street level narcotics enforcement. Adam is well versed in running sources as well as recruitment. Adam is an active member of Florida Gang Investigators Association. Adam also made a guest appearance on the TV reality show "Outlaw Country" which aired on the WGN America Network. Robert Olesen Agent Robert Olesen has eighteen years of Law Enforcement experience with the Osceola County Sheriff s Office and served five years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was Honorably Discharged as a Corporal. He has been assigned to the following units while working at the Sheriff s Office; Patrol, the Community Response Team (CRT), The Street Narcotics and Gang Unit (SNAG) and Training. For the past ten years, Agent Olesen has been assigned to the Osceola County Investigative Bureau (HIDTA Task Force) addressing Organized Crime and Drug Trafficking Organizations. He also serves as a Team Leader on the Osceola County Sheriff s Office SWAT Team. He has been on the SWAT team for the past fifteen years and prior to being a Team leader and Assistant Team Leader, he served as a Sniper. He is an instructor for several disciplines to include, but not limited too; firearms (handgun, rifle, sniper rifle and breaching shotgun), force on force, defensive tactics, SWAT operations and undercover operations.
