The coordinators: Luis Mario Aparcero Fernandez de Retana, Sabine Simonse-Brunner, Agnieszka Łapczyńska, Antonella Marino 16.03.2015 Monday The Spanish team arrived in Kraków, the Italian and German teams arrived a day prior (Sunday). The Turkish team did not arrive as their fligh from Trabzon had been cancelled due to fog. At 7.30 pm the Polish, Italian and German teams participated in the welcoming dinner at the hotel Artur.
17.03.2015 Tuesday At 8.45 am all the groups met at the hotel and went to Gimnazjum 29. At 9.00 am they watched the artistic programme prepared by Gimnazjum 29. At 11.00 all the Comenius participants together with the teachers from Gimnazjum 29 had lunch. At 12.00 the groups went to the city centre by tram to visit the exhibition Following the traces of European identity of Kraków. Then the groups had free time to look around the Main Market Square. At 5.00 pm the groups went to Szczepański square to participate in dinner at Morskie Oko restaurant. At 7.30 pm everybody went back to school or the hotel. 18.03.2015 Wednesday At 9.00 the teams met at Gimnazjum 29 and had the coordinators meeting during which the students participated in karaoke workshops. At the meeting the following decisions were made: -the Flash mob will be performed in red t-shirts -the teams are to send Luis Mario 50 photos (up to 2 megabytes each) from their own meetings using Dropbox -for the last meeting in Germany the teams are to prepare a short film/set of photos/presentation of the meeting in their countries. The presentations are to be about 5 min long At 10.30 the teams departed to Wieliczka Salt Mine by coach. The visit to the salt mine lasted till 14.30 and then the groups went back to Gimnazjum 29. At 3.00 pm the participants took part in fitness workshops and watched a martial arts show prepared by Gimnazjum 29 s vice-headmaster Mr Jacek Szarek. Later in classroom nr 33 the teams presented their parts of the Comenius Magazine. At 5.00 p.m in the school canteen took place Pierogi Festival during which the guests had a chance to try making their own pierogi and taste different types of this dish. At 7.30 pm everybody met at Magillo restaurant for dinner. 19.03.2015 Thursday At 9.00 am the teams met at school and departed to the city centre the Wawel hill. After going round the hill the students participated in City Game with their teachers help. When the game was finished, everybody went to see the Dragon s Den and then to Chimera restaurant for lunch. After the lunch we went back to school and watched or took part in the Comenius Olympic Games. At 6.00 pm Gimnazjum 29 held a disco in the school gym and after the disco the guests went to the hotel to have a rest. At 8.30 pm we all met at the Artur hotel for the farewell dinner.
20.03.2015 Friday The official end of the meeting took place at the hotel. The German group went sightseeing to the city centre while the Spanish group went by minibus to visit Auschwitz concentration camp.
