Canadian Multi-Tenant Datacenter MARKET ASSESSMENT 2014 NOV 2014

451 RESEARCH REPORT SNAPSHOT TITLE Canadian Multi-Tenant Datacenter Market Assessment 2014 ANALYST Michael Levy, Senior Analyst, Multi-Tenant Datacenters RELEASE DATE November 2014 LENGTH 50 pages ABOUT THIS REPORT The Canadian Multi-Tenant Datacenter Supply 2014 report gives readers an overview of eight datacenter markets in Canada, while providing actionable metrics around geographies and specific providers. This report is 451 Research s second look at supply/demand trends in Canada; our first was published in December 2012. This report provides current supply, demand and utilization metrics, as well as market-specific analysis. To put Canada s MTDC capacity in perspective, multiple markets in the US, including New York/New Jersey, Northern Virginia, Chicago, Dallas, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, have more capacity individually than Canada does as a whole. Although it has been a small market, we expect to see strong supply growth and demand trends over the next few years. It is often said that the Canadian MTDC market lags two to three years behind the US. However, 2015 will be a pivotal year in Canada s MTDC growth, with supply finally meeting demand.
