Switch by call easy and efficient Barriers & gates are opened by identified callers Additional call alert for any SIP phones Floor-call button triggers SIP call Remote control via DTMF dialing Error messages via phone Compatible with SIP protocol Voice message as location identifier
Product features 01 Product features The SIP relay module is a module with an integrated relay. As s SIP subscriber it logs on to a telephone system and switches by call. It is used for example for a remote door chime or a barrier opening by call. More features: Connection of a 12 VDC to 230 VAC door chime to the module possible Top hat rail mounting Configuration via web server SIP subscriber with telephone number or group call via VoIP phone system Power supply via PoE Voice prompts: Announcement of the door by a storey-call, announcement of the location after an incoming call, audible feedback of the switching function 2 www.stentofonbaudisch.com

Webinterface 07 Configuration via web server The SIP relay module provides the user with numerous adjustment options and functional features. To achieve this, the system have a built-in web server, which can be reached from any PC in the network via the web browser. The multilingual web interface (German, English, French and Italian) makes starting up and maintenance considerably easier. In addition, the web interface has also been developed in-house by Baudisch. It features a modern and well-structured design that allows a fast and intuitive operation. Of course, all dialogs are secured by using a user password. Particularly noteworthy is the menu item Quick Start, where the device can be configured quickly and efficiently. The clear and simple names of the parameters allow fast and easy entry. An automatic configuration of optional parameters is taken place in the background, so that only the most important parameters must be set manually. In the expert mode you have a more detailed view of the parameters. You can make special configurations and modify all values, even those that are automatically filled out in Quick Start mode. 08 Functions of the SIP software Phonebook: 3 direct calls, a total of 116 entries for incoming calls are possible. Call logic: Parametrised call redial if destination is unavailable and call forwarding to other destinations in the same group. Voice msg: Individual wave file can be installed for call identification (the called person hears from where the call originates) Door opening: DTMF suffix dialling (code for each call destination can be set separately), via UDP remote control or HTTP Request Audio codecs: ilbc, Speex, G.711 (PCMU/ PCMA), GSM 6.10, G.726-32 Bootloader: The complete software can be updated over IP. UDP status: A UDP status message cyclically displays the operating status and the call number of the respective destination. This acts as an interface for building management systems and to control the video pop-up software. 6 www.stentofonbaudisch.com
Applications 09 Applications Barrier / door opening For security reasons the access to office buildings, parking garages of private homes, apartment complexes or campsites is often regulated by a barrier or a roller gate. This barrier or this roller gate is classically activated by a remote control, where each authorized person needs such a remote control. The SIP relay module allows a simple and cost-efficient circuit by calling, i.e. a remote control is no longer necessary. An opening is easily possible via a speed dial button on the phone in the headoffice or with the mobile phone of the employee, tenant or holiday guest. The call number of the authorized person is then entered in the phonebook of the door module. The relay selection is either automatic by incoming calls or manual via DTMF dialing. A voice announcement can be integrated, for example Here is the barrier of Camping Park X, please enter your access code. Second bell In workshops, assembly halls or other noisy environments it is often almost impossible to hear the ringing of a telephone. The ringing of the telephone is therefore supported by an externally connected siren. For this purpose, the SIP relay module is parallel to the SIP phone included in a call group. The call is signaled on both units until the phone is answered. Storey bell In the classical apartment building, the call station with several call buttons is placed at the front door. The SIP relay module ensures the connection of a call button directly at the storey door to trigger a different door call. The display of the called phone shows that the call originates from the storey door and not from the main entrance. If you answer the call, you can even hear it by voice message. Of course the storey door can be opened by DTMF dialing and switching of the relay contact. Fault indication With the SIP relay module an external building management can be connected via the 2 potential-free switching inputs. In case of failure of the system the SIP relay module triggers a call, for example a fault message to the mobile phone of the owner. Another example is the fault message for a service technician in the office when an incident has occured at a machine in the workshop. www.stentofonbaudisch.com 7
