According to the SCA's organization chart, It is considered to be the Chairman's consultant, through which planning and continuous follow up of the SCA's affiliated companies is efficiently done to achieve the budget's goals. The Companies Department should, therefore, take decisions concerning the aims of its affiliated companies, the way of improving them, and the efficient use of obtained resources to achieve those aims. Canal Mooring & Lights Co. Main Activities: Mooring Activity: Mooring and unmooring of vessels transiting the Suez canal or arriving at Egyptian ports( Port Said, Suez, Sharm El Sheikh, Nuweiba and Ein Sukhna), in addition to the ships waiting at Ballah By pass. Providing transiting vessels with floating units and crew required for mooring services. Lights Activity : To comply with the Suez Canal's Rules of Navigation, all transiting vessels should be equipped with light projectors of special technical specifications. So, the company can serve standard light projectors to transiting ships upon request, in addition to providing them with highly -skilled electricians. Other Activities : Laying water & gas pipes and electrical & telecommunications cables underground by using a high technical innovative process to achieve precise and pre determined location at certain spots.
