Information for Corporate Account Users 1. Sign up for a New Corporate Account? a. Go to www.nicf.sg b. Click on Sign up for new user account hyperlink as shown above Fig 1.1 -Page 3 - Updated: 14 April 2014
Fill in all the compulsory fields (marked *) in the online application form Each organisation account can allow up to 3 user accounts, 1 main and 2 sub accounts, with different email addresses for the appointed users There are 4 parts to the online application form: o o o o Organizational Detail; Organization Profile; Job Family Selection; and Final step - Declaration After completing each part, click Next to go to next part Part I: Organisation Detail Fig 1.2 Page 1 of 4 Main user id for the entire corporate account -Page 4 - Updated: 14 April 2014

Part III: Job Family Selection New Functionality in the enhanced NICF Portal. All corporate account holders are to choose job families pertaining to their area of work during the NICF Corporate Account Application. Each mew application must select at least choose one job family. If they check the main header, the sub headers will be auto checked. Navigate the job families via the pages to select the relevant and multiple job families. Click Next to go to final part. 2. Corporate Account Application Process Fig 2.1 After submitting NICF Corporate Account Application IDA Internal processing with or without clarification required 5 to 7 days Rejected Account User receives notification Approved Account User receives notification with password By clicking on the submit button, the application is submitted for processing. The processing period is about 5-7 working days. Once account is approved / rejected, an acknowledgement email would be sent to the main account holder s email. This email would contain the main account holders and sub account holders login passwords. When an account is approved, all 3 accounts receive notification with the password details. When an account is rejected, the main account receives notification. For current existing or corporate account holders, if you require more job families after the successful application of the account, you may have to email Mohua_Sarkar@ida.gov.sg and request for the job families. Your request will be approved / rejected and you will be informed within 5-7 working days. -Page 8 - Updated: 14 April 2014
3. Account Management The approved users are encouraged to keep their accounts active. System automated notification emails are sent to users if their accounts remain inactive over a certain period of time. 90 days of Account Inactivity (based on the last login date to NICF) Action Required: Please login to NICF Portal to retain the active status for your account. -Page 9 - Updated: 14 April 2014
180 days of Account Inactivity (based on the last login date to NICF) Your NICF Corporate Account will be automatically deactivated if you have not logged onto the system for 180 days. You will be directed to the online request page for reactivation of NICF Corporate Account. Action Required: Please submit your email address to request for account reactivation. 4. Password Management a. Forgot Password Go to NICF Portal (www.nicf.sg). Click on Forgot Password. Fig 4.1 -Page 11 - Updated: 14 April 2014

c. Manage my account Go to www.nicf.sg and login to NICF Corporate Account. Upon login to NICF Corporate Account, Click on Manage My Account at the Top bar menu. You are allowed to edit the details of the accounts and change passwords. Fig 4.5 -Page 15 - Updated: 14 April 2014
5. Download NICF Documentation Go to www.nicf.sg and login to NICF Corporate Account. Upon login to NICF Corporate Account, Click on Manage My Account at the Top bar menu. Click on Download. Fig 5.1 -Page 16 - Updated: 14 April 2014
All the job families requested and approved for your NICF Corporate Account will be listed for downloading purpose. The documents are in a single zipped file and will be displayed by the job families. Every job family zip file will contain the relevant Job Roles and NICF National Competency Standard documents. 6. Competencies and Performance Statements on NICF Portal Go to NICF Portal (www.nicf.sg). Click on Competencies at the top menu bar. Fig 6.1 -Page 18 - Updated: 14 April 2014
Under the section Please select the category which best describes your competency, select the relevant competency in the dropdown list, e.g. Cloud Architecture and click Search. Fig 6.2 Fig 6.3 -Page 19 - Updated: 14 April 2014
All the relevant Competency Units (CU) will be displayed. To view the Performance Statements (PS), click the CU Name, e.g. Define cloud integration strategy and develop roadmap. 7. NICF Change Log Details Go to NICF Portal (www.nicf.sg). Refer to NICF Updates section (see Fig 6.1) for the recently updated / added job roles and competency units. Click on List All for full list of change log details, refer to Fig 6.2 Fig 7.1 -Page 21 - Updated: 14 April 2014

8. Search for Courses Courses and certifications that are aligned to NICF competencies are published on NICF Portal. There are 2 ways to search for these courses and certifications, either by Functional Group or Training Provider, to use the filter displaying the listing or input a keyword to search. 9. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Q. How do I obtain a corporate account in NICF Portal? A. For new user, you are required to submit an online NICF Corporate Account application via NICF Portal. Please refer to Section (1) on Sign Up for New Corporate Account in this document. Q. What is the processing time for a new NICF Corporate Account? A. The processing time will take about 5-7 working days. Q. I have an active NICF Corporate Account and would like to add more job families to my existing account. How do I go about doing it? A. Please submit your request via mail to Mohua_Sarkar@ida.gov.sg and state the additional job families. Note that that the processing time will take about 2-3 working days. Q. I have received an automated email which says my NICF corporate account had been inactive for 90 days. What should I do? A. This is part of the system s housekeeping message when there are no login activities for 90 days. You can login to NICF Portal to retain the active status for your NICF account. Q. I am redirected to a page to reactivate my NICF Corporate Account. What should I do? A. Please refer to page 9 of this user guide for instruction. You are expected to provide the email address based on any of the approved users for your NICF Corporate Account. Upon verification, the account would be reactivated. Q. What does the download of documentation include? A. The downloaded pack will have a zipped file for the requested job families. This zipped file contains the Job Description (JD) and the National Competency Standards for the related NICF Competency Units in pdf format. Q. Now that I have downloaded the necessary documents, how do I go about mapping the courses? A. The downloaded documentation is to facilitate the preparation for NICF Course Mapping. The course providers can review the details in the documents to determine the contents alignment of their training courses and certifications to NICF competencies. Upon the completion of the review, the course providers can proceed to submit the online application for NICF Course Mapping via ICMS (https://www.idaicms.gov.sg).
