Special vertical air ducts on the stoves suck in cold air at the bottom of the stove and discharges hot air at the top of the stove. The convection system promotes air circulation in the room and good utilisation of the fuel contrary to stoves without a convection system, which mainly produce radiation heat. Varde Ovne and the nordic ecolabel Varde Ovne was the first manufacturer of wood-burning stoves in the world to meet the strict requirements to the much coveted Nordic Ecolabel. The standard has stringent requirements for combustion efficiency and particle and hydrocarbon emissions. To qualify to carry the Nordic Ecolabel a stove must not contain any heavy metals. Model varde UNIQ A 180 degree experience Uniq s overall appearance exudes classic, timeless design. A closer look reveals elegant detailing: the joints, the corners and the attractive handle. Its tall, slender shape means that it does not take up much space in a room, while still generating a great amount of heat, thanks to its large surface area. The air supply is adjusted using a simple knob, and the self-cleaning glass function means that the glass will always remain clean if the stove is used correctly.
